I am completely confused as to why this didn't get 1st place. But what's a number, eh? This is an utterly amazing demo. Yes I'm commenting on all the video uploads because it deserves far more recognition that it's getting and I absolutely love it (and this is from a hardcore YM fan who prefers the YM conversions of many of these because I heard them first in ST demos).
Seriously, this is one my favourite ST demos at the moment and I can't believe there isn't more excitement about it; It's just brilliant! Great work guys!
The nastalgia is intense. As good as Hubbard was, for me there can be no other than Tim Follin for technical prowess, The things than man got the Speccy's buzzer to do is still mind bogglin.
I've always loved the ST demo scene, and what's been produced since it's "demise" has been incredible; so many cool demos and games pushing the little grey box far beyond what it was made to do, but this demo has taken me back to being my 14 year old self seeing 'the cuddly demos' at a computer shop. It's just amazing! Kudos to Cream . This is now one of my top 10 ST demos.
@@michaelraasch5496 hah! to be fair they reference it in the scroller of this demo, but yes, I enjoyed the TEX demos (I think the quote is in their 'little sound demo'?). This one surely has to be the release of the year though, I know Tao's been doing crazy stuff with the YM2149 for ages but this is just incredible.
This is so incredible😮 i first thought it was sample based emulation and never expected it to be YM2149 timer effects... And at such good quality it is so amazing and still some CPU time left for some moving graphics😮 great work!
So, this board adds 3D-accelerated GTIA-like chip (or Denise-like in Amiga universe) to the STe? You guys are crazy. Any reason against using it with plain ST hardware?
This production is as great as unusual !! Electronic + Optimised Asm in nice designed production 😀 Just discovered this UltrabooST development ✨ I've read a part of the detailed infos about it !! It's very interessant ! Have to read more ! Cream rocks a lot !!
Very impressive demo ! I've read the page about development, what you've done is amazing ! What a brilliant idea to "unshift" to create new video modes !! Congratulations for this unique achievement !
