Its a miracle how a single overpowered item can carry a person who is clearly (not) knowing what theyre doing through the endgame. Now buy the dlcs and play on harder difficulties. If you do that, you get like 3x more biomes than you had access to before.
@@PigSwigg Nahh you aint that bad, but you missed so many things to do in this game before beating it. Also dont rely on turrets to win the run, because youre not always going to get one. To kill the big guys (i feel like this is what you struggle most with), you should kill them quickly before they can even attack. You can roll through doors, because that will stun the enemies on the other side of it, including (most of) the big guys. You can do a downward smash if your above them, to stun them too or you can wait for their first attack and parry it and then kill them. An alternative to downward smash is to just go down slowly right above them and attack mid air, but this is pretty tough. Mostly this game is just practise and again, if youre getting sick of going througg stilt village, unlock some runes, buy dlcs and you will triple the amount of biomes youve been to.
Dude we were all like this in 0BC. I didn’t learn to play properly until 2BC when the game requires thurough understanding of most mechanics. Don’t discourage him by saying that he got lucky because of a legendary item. P.S Great video it was a ton of fun! ^^
just so you know, you can read things the game says to learn things about the game. like how you can charge the flint, or how scrolls actually effect your weapons stats. I do have to say, the content is pretty funny and I like your commentary. edit: do you realize that you are repeatedly picking up items that INCREASE the damage you take? that red skull symbol above you with a x2 at 6:21 is telling you that one of your items does double its normal damage, and is doubling all the damage you take. just saying. edit: just got to 10:21. as you see, reading things helps. edit: next to each door in a level, there is a sign with a symbol of what's behind the door. money for shops, keys for keys, and doors for passages to next levels. edit: just saying, you can charge up a more powerful, slower, technically ranged attack by holding the flint instead of just clicking it.
@@PigSwigg Hello! Im a game dev. I want to invite you to play my roguelike Trapped Souls. The game is on steam, if you are interested, let me know and I will send you the key
Sick video! Something I reccomend doing is when reaching a chess room, shoot the sides with a non-starting gun because there might be a secret room (if you dont know, seeing big cracks after shooting the wall then using a blank lets you in the secret room
The game isn't particularly difficult. I mean it is, but not as bad as it seems. I think the reason why I suck at it (60 hours in and at 3 bc) is because the game itself is built to be very fast paced. However, you must not run through the game at higher difficulties or you will make mistakes. But every fiber in my body tells me to go for style points and fluidity, instead of caution.
Little thing- in that chicken room where it says wrong number, you could’ve rolled to the right to get arguably the most overpowered weapon in this whole game. Also, in the ramparts, when you accidentally stood on the invisible floating platform, that’s not a glitch. Keep going right and jump to get a blueprint.
I've been trying for a couple days now to unlock the gunslinger. I gotta say, going through the game once, using your clone to go through it again, and then going through the game AGAIN just to die in the last floor is not a fun feeling. Especially when success would have awarded you with this man.
Dang that's rough, but at least we're in it together, well at least we were. I assume you probably did it by now. At least hopefully, for the sake of your mental state.
You are spot on. I managed to do it a little while after. He is my favorite character because lich eye bullets are just insane. My favorite gun to use with him is the awp. If you have used it, you know what I mean.
I just started playing this game and it’s the most fun I have had in a while! This game can be a bit tough at times, but you’ll get used to it the more you play it and upgrade the things you can get like weapons, mutations, and even your flasks.
Gunslinger is the best gungeoneer. Don't even try argue because you know he is. So many weapons get a huge damage boost from there synergys. Bullet is basically only good for coop. If you're competent in dodging bullets you don't need the sword as a crutch
Oh wow, I just found out about this channel. Man, I love Enter The Gungeon (I have 1611 hours on it and 100% it). Great video, though it seems that you have been misinformed, the junk does not increase the damage of the robot, it increases the damage of its starter gun, also you can throw the junk, it keeps track of each time you pick a junk, and not how much you have in your inventory, so selling it is the best option. The robot is just a hard character with no redeeming qualities, the only special qualities of the robot are insignificant. That's why I love him so much. I can make a sub-30m run with him and 100% of each of the main and secret floors. Try beating the rat and obtaining all 6 of the keys, that is by far the hardest challenge the Gungeon has to offer. I hope these videos get more attention in the future. I really enjoy them.
you are quite wrong. The damage increase from junk apply to all guns. You are right about selling part though. Take a look at the wiki Also the robot has a huge hidden quality : his accuracy is much better than other characters.
@@yacktenebreux well, the Wiki says that it 5% increase, but it doesn't tell it only works if the starter gun is out. So yes the damage increase is unique to the robot but it only works with its starter. However, if you have something that shoots while you hold the starter gun, phonies synergy, owl, or chance bullet, that increase also applies. I am not an expert in the matter if you have doubts ask the enter the gungeon wiki, moders can straight up see the code and answer. Also, the accuracy increase isn't from the character is from its passive item, if another gungoner gets the passive item gets the same stat increase thank you for answering, not many RU-vidrs answer. your video made me play Enter the Gungeon, after seeing this video I replayed Gungeon, with the robot. all main and secret floors all the way to bullet hell, and also beating the rat with five rat keys, i am rusty I can't get the six.
Trust me, it applies to all guns. I got the item which allows to see how much damage you deal to ennemies while being the robot, and I saw the damage increase each time I took a junk
@@yacktenebreux well, I guessed I am wrong. But I vividly remember a moder told me in discord. But I can't argue with the scouter (the item that shows damage)
