the 2.7 is not immune from IMS issues, not until the Gen2 987 were the engines replaced. those are reliable. anyway great car it's still beautiful.

My 1997 986 does not have the elastic held with a torx. It only has one Velcro loop. I'm assuming it was an early production model. And yes, it does have this issue but only on the US passenger side where the cover has pulled away from where it gets fastened to the end of the steel wire. Needs to be sewn back in place, not easy to do in such a tight space.

Hi mate, Thanks for nice and informative video. Would you be able to advise me on following. I’m going to install carpet lining in my 2016 renault trafic van. The problem I have is a interior lighting. I want to replace original lights with led ones. Original ones have a 3 wire connection but new led lights only has 2 wires which is positive and negative. Do you know how to connect 2 wire lights to 3 wire light system ? Many thanks

What did you clean down the roof with after wet sanding to add next coat?

Do you know where the receiver is on the T5. The central locking works perfectly if you have the key inside the van. But outside the van nothing works

Hi there mate,I have replaced the regulator,got the 100 pounds aftermarket one,done everything like you have done ,but when I put the windows down,it goes too much inside of the door....if I try to get it up again, it's hitting the inside of the door and I need to guide it with credit card or something to get it up again...apart from that everything is ok mate...just can't get it to stop before it goes all the way unless I do it click by click but that's annoying I can't do it only with a press of the button.
