I was born in La Paz, Bolivia in South America and I’ve been living in the United States for 53 years. I am an almost 71 year old grandmother who loves music and dancing and I just came across this video and I loved it! Beautiful music and the dancing steps too.
Through August 2024, re-reading Olivia Manning's The Levant Trilogy in which she mentions the "cherry pickers". So happy to be able to see them. Thank you.

This one is right up there with Queen Victoria and the Highland Ghillie. And we met Ronnie Barker way back in 1983, when he was doing a book signing at Barker's of Kensington (appropriately enough). All ancient history now, but we remember both of the Two Ronnies fondly.
When I was in college, my dad bought this CD. I liked it, but I confess that I didn’t grasp the reality of life was like in Apartheid South Africa. RIP, Hugh, and thank you for your efforts to bring justice to South Africa.
I hope Scotland rediscovers its true faith and its true history (a good sign was the strong protest reaction against the mad and tyrannical hate crime law). Read G.K. Chesterton, a great defender of Scotland, family and freedom (and a quarter Scots himself). Wake up Scots: protect your families, children and freedom.
The uniforms of the "mounted detachment" resemble those of the King's Troop of the Royal Horse Artillery - but I suspect the riders ARE from KTRHA. Lovelovelove those uniforms and the RHA!
