Any R&B or Soul singer who wanted to crossover, used "Georgia" in the lyric. ala - Rainy Night in Georgia(Brook Benton), Georgia On My Mind (Ray Charles). It worked. The AI voice sucks, btw. Get a human who cares about what they are reading.

Love this song, but I gotta say I don't believe Brown when he says he didn't write it about an ex con. Anyone who writes "I'm comin' home I've done my time" in 1973 means prison. Also in the 2nd verse he says "I'm really STILL in prison"... He WAS getting sued, and he DID change his story. But to me it doesn't even matter. Ribbons, handkerchiefs...tying something yellow on a tree as a show of dedication and support for loved ones to return goes back a long way. Like many great songs, it can have more than 1 meaning. and that's great because more people can enjoy it and express their love for each other
i remember exactly what this song was about. in my town anyone who had a loved one in the service in vietnam was scared to death they may not come home...and many didn't!. many soldiers were DRAFTED with no choice of their own...unless you were rich...then you could have (made up) bone spurs! i remember when the war was over anyone & even families who didn't have a loved one in the service tied beautiful huge yellow ribbons around their oak trees in their front yard all over town. i was around 18-20 years old and it hit us hard when my brother came home. he broke down crying when he saw those ribbons....those ribbons was more patriotic than pledging the flag because it was more personal to our heroes who got to come home alive...this song still makes me cry...that war was hideous...PEACE!!...friend...

I think the mcdonalds lady had a reason to call the police because she wouldn't give her her money back. which is what they are supposed to do so they literally took her money that is robbery and in this case an ok reason to call the non emergency police.
$50,000 bail for a misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor theft seems pretty hefty. He should have gone to San Francisco, where they just let you walk off with up to $950 worth of merchandise with no criminal charges being filed.

I was a truck driver in the Detroit area around the last part of the 90's . I made a wrong turn, and ended up on the Canadian border between Detroit and Windsor . It took me two hours to get screened before I was let go back to Detroit ... It was to the point that I won't make a wrong turn again, at least in that area .

you know all the stuff you have at the beginning and end of your vids should be in the about section after you hit the "more" button. anyway the stories are always good just all that stuff around the actual content is quite annoying.
Thanks for the feedback. We stopped including the long intro and ending segments last year as the channel is now able to use pop-up endscreens. But most of our videos are created months in advance. We simply chose not to edit the ones that were already made. However, I believe the Stupid Crime videos' without the "extras" will start to show up in episode #75. We are a team of collaborators doing this on the side and we plan to add other topics in time.
The reasoning is in the drugs because using them takes most of the ability to do that away while you're high. :) Its clear that woman was high AF when her mug shot was taken. i understand addiction and how you feel you have no choice sometimes but that was not smart for sure!
