Hi! My name is Alexa (they/she). I die a lot. I usually like to play open-ended games I can make my own like Minecraft and Sims, but I switch it up a lot. In the past, I've posted Portal, Kona, The Long Dark, Pokemon TCG and TCGO, Minecraft single player, multiplayer, modded, SMP's and minigames, Moon Hunters and various titles in the Nancy Drew series, and Star Stable Online. I'm always finding new games to play, so stick around!
Here are some series' I've been excited to be a part of!
I randpmly had the urge to play sso again a few days ago only to be met with this and then realised it was LIMITED so ive been rushing to get them all, im like over half way i think somehow but now lacking motivation and time so thank you for this ❤😭
That's Audra's non-magic coat! She's the vala witch themed magic haflinger from last Halloween. She should return with Alvirah (the swamp witch Tennessee Walker) this October when the Halloween event opens!
Possibly! Maybe this whole time we've been told the light ceremony book is the ending because that's all the last soul riders have tried. We know it's not a permanent solution, it hasn't been up to now. But maybe with the other decisions this cycle has made, like reestablishing the weald weave, has given us another solution the others haven't had before. Maybe the tome is only to literally close and reseal Garnok once more, but embracing the Weald Weave can absorb Pandorias unreality creating a new balance - legend of Korra spirit world style. If the tome is truly only to end or subdue the conflict and keep it at bay once more, maybe thewe can fully restore the Weald Weave it's magic and pandorias can blend and create a balance instead of outright sinking into unreality.
I have from now until September 4th. I just got back into SSO and didn’t even know this was a thing. I NEEEED that cute little sweater ahhhh. Wish me luck 😭
You got this!! I finished it this morning, so you can realistically finish it with the remaining time. Aim to get about 2000-2500 points a day I think...doing all of the stable chores everywhere helps get a big chunk of points
my thoughts on events? they should get rid of camp western. it is one of the things i feel (and have felt) fully bad about. i won't like stuff, but this was a compleat aversion. last year and this. the rainbow event is one of my and everyone i know on SSO's faves. it's whimsical and fun. i hope it's not really gone
I def agree camp western should be reimagined or replaced. It doesn't hit as hard as the other events and it's severely lacking from the first year (and I've said my observations as to why at length lol) I don't think we'll get this past year's rainbow festival again, at least I hope we don't. It was a let down, and even though I felt the cloud kingdom was stale, the charm and whimsy was still there. I hope they can recapture that in a future rainbow festival evolution!
camp western was amazing the first time...bc it was new... but they took out Easter and midsummer and this year the rainbow land? what's next? will we get thanksgiving and 4th of July? i know they did this to appeal to the north americans …and me as European hate it... give back our Holidays sso!
We're definitely not getting Thanksgiving and independence day lol. The event structure isn't to appeal to North Americans. In the blog post they explained they were trimming down the events to seasons so they could focus on them being bigger and better and not so small and buggy. Camp Western WAS good the first time, but it was almost doomed to fail because some of the new and fresh features were overused by the next time it came around. Then if you look at them side by side you notice they took so much away from it without adding to it. I'm hoping that's because they were focusing on the new birthday event instead, but we will see! I feel like Easter is the one most people bring up when they talk about events they missed. Easter is a secular holiday, it doesn't appeal to everyone. That would be akin to adding American Independence Day, it's just...silly lol. (Edited to fix the camp western phrasing)
I would love to hear your theories about to medieval festival! I'm wondering if Jessica will make an appearance because Sabine and Katja have both been apart of some events.
The fastest way to do this is simply to stay in Moorland. I'm done in 10 minutes including logging in and out. Take care of your horse (1), do stable chores with brushing/picking hoofs from Bobcat girls (4) and do all competitions (7) - three of them are under 30 second, another three under 1 minute. Done! And everything is together so you don't waste time with riding from place to place. Moorland is so underrated.
It is a solid pick tbh, if you like being in Moorland! I've come up with options for the different home stables, too and some are also just as quick, but not as crowded (looking at you, Steve)
Jarlaheim! I'm pretty sure it was at the shop outside of Heavy Metal Scissors you set up in a short quest with the guy there. There are 2 shops, so check them both!
Whenever I use up the first several quests of the day, I just start grinding hollow woods for hours. Aside from closing around 3 additional milestones per day, I also get shillings and horse xp
South Hoof updates, too, please. I love South Hoof, but the buildings are so aged. I also can only find 15 dolls in the same places everyday, but only 15, so I can't finish the quest.
It sounds like you're just missing a location. In my video about the doll quest, I showed all of the locations and also put a list in the comments with the timestamps. See if you can figure out which one you're missing. If its really not showing up, you can get a video of you finding the rest of the dolls and send it to support for help.
⭐ If you're looking for a suggested routine, reply to this comment with your Home Stable! Bonus, if there's a type of activity you like best, add that too, and I'll come up with a routine for you, and add how long it took me to run it :)
@@serenasutherland7269 In Valedale, you have a couple of options, depending on where you are in quest progression. I'd start with: - inside stable care (3) - outside stable care (3) - horse care (1) For the last 5 tasks, I have some different options. If you still need to do Soul Rider training to get Runerunner (or if you just like doing those activities): - soul rider training (3) - soul rider missions (2) (took me about 15 minutes, but could be longer or shorter depending on your missions) If you've finished the magic horse quests from the druid paths: - track down and interact with all 6 magic horses (they show up in generally the same places every day) (5 + 1 bonus) (total time about 10m30s) Otherwise, I would say to pick 5 of the following tasks: - Alex's Training (following most recent story quest) - Hollow Woods Race (by the trailer) - Ada's Firefly Race - Makenna's Firefly Race - Hollow Woods Orienteering - Rune carving puzzles - Opening satchels Hollow Woods has a lot of options that aren't always in predictable places, so it's really whatever you run into first. Bonus, any of the above will also passively get you fireflies which are 2pts per, which can add up quickly.
@@chiaseed-gj3zl For Starshine, because there aren't outside chores, we have to get creative. Especially if you like racing, I would: - Inside stable chores (3) - Horse Care (1) - Race board solo + opponent races (8) (about 14 mins) There are 2 caveats to this. 1, you have to individually select the races from the board and do them 1 at a time. Queueing them up 4 at a time will only get you 1 task worth of points, but selecting them individually will count as 4 tasks. 2, you might run into the glitch where you can't select all of the races. In that case, for however many races you couldn't do, instead do: - Josh's chores daily (1) (I'm pretty sure this one works, but I already did it today and can't double check) - Mary's Animals (4)
I linked the original in the description, but I heavily modified it to fit my needs (I shut off the sky texture but sometimes it still flashes back on, you'll see it more in the clips where I'm getting points) I made a new one from scratch that looks a little like the modified version, but obviously isn't exactly the same. I released it to Tumblr today, I'll show it and provide the free download link in my next video :) I'm hoping to record a reshade tutorial tomorrow.
a low effort way I found for myself personally is that I pet all 6 magical horses in the Hollow Woods after daily Alex training plus do some chores or races depending on what I feel like doing, sometimes I go to Starshine Ranch for horse xp
can someone give me a routine i should follow to get all the points? i’m still a little confused lol so if someone could make like a race, quest and such schedule i could follow!
@@gwennnnnnn So Steve's has a lot going on for options. I would: - Inside Stable Chores (3) - Outside Stable Chores (3) - Steve's Race (1) - Tai's Races (2) - Marley's Races (3) I tested it out, it took me 10m30s to complete :) Bonus 20 pointers - exchanging for Shillings (or Horse XP) at H.O.R.S.E - Steve's fetch quests (only appear on certain days)
UPDATE: You only get 1 activity worth of points for fully caring for ONE horse. If you have stable care, that can be satisfied by doing 1 care activity, but it still only works for 1 horse. I have removed that section of the video. The rest of the information is accurate. Here is the quick strategy I will be using myself: ✅ inside stable chores (3) ✅ outside stable chores (3) ✅ Epona Extra Interesting Fossils (4) ✅ 2x races/dolls/npc chore quest/whatever I feel like doing (2)
Yeah it's been slower than I originally thought tbh. I'll probably get to level 5 by the end of the day but oof. I know it's doable in the time, but my brain wants me to do it faster lol
Audra!! They're the magic Haflinger that was released last Halloween!! They should return in October (possibly discounted if SSO continues discounting previous years magic horses like they did last Halloween + Winter)
@@chelseamathieu7931 if you do some quests in valedale/ hollow woods you can buy them for around 450 star coins, you have to do quests with the motherstone!
It's for sale in Jarlaheim! There's a shop outside of Heavy Metal Scissors. If you don't see a shop, there's a quest with a guy outside the salon to set up the shop.
Someone figured out the point structure! You get less points the more you do. So the first 4 tasks you do give you 100 points, the next tasks give you 75 and so on until it bottoms out at 20 points. I think this was done so people couldn't speed through it and complete it in a few days. I'm going to do some math and see how active we need to be to complete it.
I really wish there was a way to replay quests just for the refresher. I only started like 3 years ago and I still have stuff I want to check for continuity, nevermind playing it 10+ years ago!
The news doesn't specifically say...I want to guess you have to complete Josh's quest where you go for a ride and it starts raining. My side account has it available and it's not too far in the story quest yet, but I've done the Starshine intro quests.
