i've only seen a couple of aussie ones so far,, my opinions of aussies isn't very high, but with these, i thought they would be interesting,, they are, and just as entertaining as the usa ones, lol
There're giant fire-suppression-blankets that can be deployed over lithium-fires; I'd begin by arguing that water isn't the way to respond to lithium fires based on water-resources-limits; I'd ensure municipalities are prepared with water-free blown-in-retardants, fine-granules, of pumice, mica, vermiculite, clay, sand, chalk, oyster-shell, & ash; blown-in-retardants aren't a system but they can just be deployed as a 1st response. The point is to prevent the spread of fire, never to extinguish the lithium because that is chemically impossible even in a vacuum; ergo adding water is only producing poison-water & poison-steam; the middle-road is to blow air directly onto the lithium-fire, stoking it as hot as possible, finish the chemical-reaction quickly & with minimum production of toxins possible; hotter unretarded lithium-flame produces less-complex environmentally-safer-byproducts.
