Rich Little, a funny man, and he is still with us. Sadly, most of those he impersonated have left us. Benny, Burns, Martin, Stewart, are all gone now.

I'd rather listen to the other version but I think this has a better tone and feeling for the characters. The opening with Christine's song is a great change. I like how this is more about how there is beauty in the dark music they're attracted to. They're bonding over their mutual darkness rather than JUST how they find beauty in ugliness. The Phantom taking off his mask and still being rejected feels a lot more tragic in this version, because it felt like they had a more genuine connection.

I keep coming back to listen to this version. The transition between gustuv singing into Christine gives me such goosebumps

I honestly think the 7/4 timing in some parts of this one is kinda whack. It adds an unnatural element that I appreciate but sometimes it randomly jumps into 6/4 and back into 7/4 and then straight INTO 4/4 and it's hard to follow the beat. This was the first version I got to see, though, and I was not disappointed in the slightest.
