To add to my other comment, row 10, it's supposed to be 29 stitches left after you do the 7 tr 4x, which in return makes it 31, not 39 and row 11 it makes it 33 stitches to the first set of 2 sc in the next 3 tr. This pattern isn't right...
Row 10 makes no sense at all, the pattern says 1sc in the first 30sts, *(skip 3 sts. 7 tr in next st. skip 3 sts, 1sc in the next st) twice* 1sc in the next st Repeat from *to* once more,. 1 sc in each of the last 29sts. You have the 3rd toe at skip 4 sts. So is it 3 or 4 we skip on that one? if only 3, then there are 30sts that finish that row out, not 29 as the pattern says. ???
I simply love this stitch. I had made a couple of bags with this stitch, and would now like to use this stitch for making a sweater. So do I follow the same instructions when working in rows instead of rounds?
Would you (I) be able to crochet a whole baby blanket alternating the front and back post stitches all the way up the blanket? Or would I have to do something else to make it stronger
June 21, 2024 at 4:30AM - I just wanted to comment that I just now purchased Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3 Crochet Thread at 40% OFF from Michaels ($2.99/ball). I bought 2 balls each of 14 different colors they were selling and got FREE SHIPPING! I do not gain anything from sharing this knowledge but I'm sure most anyone can appreciate saving money. I hope someone benefits from this info. Have a great day! 😊
Size 10 is my go to for doilies and lace. Sometimes I like the finer threads for delicate work. I do use yarn for specific things like scarves and booties, but I learned to crochet as a child from my grandmother, using size 10 thread and small hooks. I love the small sizes best.
I am glad i found this video I do tatting with Lizbeth size 20 thread and amassed lot of balls As i am aging sometimes it is difficult to tatvwith it My question is will it be possible to double size 20 thread n do crochet with it
What happens to the yarn that doesn't weigh enough and gets rejected? Do you throw it out or just add more yarn to the spool to make it the correct weight? Informative video but I still have so many questions. 🧐
Thank you so much!! My mom used to do this pattern but everyone wanted her pattern and she ended up giving them all away! Now I can do one for my great grand child due in April!!!
Hi Mike. I have been crocheting with u for years just learning entrlock with u I get two three squares b on top I did six chains how do I do next block I think I am on the sixth roll whereby have three squares beside each other
I’d love to access the written pattern for this as I’m learning to read them. However the link doesn’t work anymore. Any chance of finding it anywhere? Thank you.
The hat and scarf my mom made from this yarn has been invaluable. I really wish Red Heart still made this, because now I know how to knit too, and I would make even more stuff from it!
