Hello! Great video! I learned a lot! I have a A2485 with the same problem. No backlight. I tested everything, and I am almost changing the UP800 chip... But before do that, I'd like to know if is there anything else to searching for. Or maybe try DFU recover first? could you help me? Thanks
@@resetlab7142 Hi! the equipment was purchased in a sealed box from a seller who was closing up shop. The equipment has been used for 7 months and has never suffered drops or spilled liquids. The backlight simply turned off during normal use. The equipment works normally via HDMI and it is possible to see background images on the screen. Thank you for your time. NEW! The problem is exactly this one on video: Blurry Screen: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iSEkb2muUYk.html
@@generalislive7 do you have a secondary machine? Just to see if the machine is stuck on DFU, and then do you have tools to open the back of the machine, to at least see if the voltage on both sides of the NAND is stable at 2.5V?
Today, I just closed the lid of my macbbok pro A2141 16 inch it was at 13% and I pullged it in charging after 1 hour I opened the lid it did not start I have feedback on trackpad please help me bro??
@@generalislive7 can you maybe tap on the caps lock key to see if the LED comes on? If not, you can press and hold the power button to forcefully shot down the Mac and then power connect your charger to see the response, just by the way, I supposed you are using a 96 charger
This helped so much. I had been nessing with my macbook after doing a liquid metal application and vouldnt figure it out fir the livr of me. One jumper and a donor part later i was set.

I have got similar problem to my customers, I am a refurbished laptop reseller, I usually dont do repairs, and I have not done repair using Soldering, but I am an electronics grad.. I understand.. I am planning to repair it my self.. but where to get the spare parts to replace..
@@UshasreeKondapi hello there , thank you for taking your time through the video, to your question, you have to look into a practical and cheaper way to acquire donor boards , for me , you can start by buying dead machines,
@@resetlab7142 sure, thanks for your reply. I will start collecting dead boards. I am actually selling MacBooks in Indian cities. so, I get dead laptops in our laptop LOTs. by the way, your video is really helpful, very explanatory.
Thank you for the video, I have the A2141 model with a GPU problem (I think, not sure) the laptop can not boot and it's very hot. it wants to start but shuts down and starts again without any reason, please help.
@@VolodymyrIhor thank you for taking your time, I will help wherever I can, what is the history of the device? Alternatively, you can check out our WhatsApp line on the website, which would be easier for troubleshooting communication.
Yes you can, but your best bet is always to locally outsource, you will be paying more by mailing, I would prefer you find someone closer, unless you are paying very little for the mail in
I love how you ask questions to see if he is learning. most people on RU-vid don't get into detail like you do. I'm from Jamaica. where are you from if you don't mind me asking
@@resetlab7142 I actually found shematic and cad for the version 820-02100 on some forums. However, there are some part on the CAD and schematic that is different from the LCD backlight circuit on my macbook mainboard, like some resistors and capacitors that exist the CAD do not exist on the lcd backlight circuit which is a bit confusing to me. I was hoping you could share schematic and CAD for the 820-02100-A main board. I will appreciate it very much 🙏
@@anthonybrown3829 thank you for taking your time, and thank you for the kind words. To your question, you can also use windows, here’s a link pldaniels.com/flexbv5/
this was such a great video thank you so much i learned a lot i watched the entire video i like how you explained everthing. where can i get board view and scamatics?
I always try to be so careful if I put a spudger under that fan mosfet area when removing these and A1706 logic boards. Just did a battery on an A1707, and had high fan speed on refitting. Yep, I partially lifted Q6000. Thanks for the video and I am off to find a donor to get that mosfet. Happy repairs
