8/10 but I can unsub if you like lol demarini is the worst of the major brands n the vanilla gorilla is the single most overrated hunk of junk I ever hit. I'd buy a wood bat before I gave demarini a dollar I haven't hit a decent one since the red nautalai n before that the old juggy. So 2 decent bats in 15 years it's hard to buy their product even with your solid review n I trust you more than anyone else so you'll hafta convince me not to choose better companies buddy.
You're definitely entitled to your own opinion even if it doesn't agree with mine. I can only help people formulate opinions based on what we find when we swing these things. We've just about hit the point again where there is something out there for everyone. Out of curiosity, what are you swinging these days?
@TheBPHero I wasn't trying to be rude my friend just was looking for a reason to have faith in demarini again..I still swing a miken frwakshow and I'm from Steele Lewis hometown as u know so monsta has made its way to Canada I'm actually very impressed..we don't get Suncoast n them up here I've swung a few anarchy n pure bats but if I had to buy a 240 it probably buy a Louisville genesis as I still swing my og2000 it's by far my favorite bat of the 220 stuff buy a close second be the freak highlighter..I hear good things about new demarini tech but my point was with all the down years they had I need convincing to trust them again but my gamer was a juggy for 3 years or so..I value your opinion over bat bros as you're a bigger guy n you let the bat talk not your swing n I respect that as it's a bat review not can I hit the ball 500 feet..
Definitely didn't take you as being rude. I always appreciate any feedback and engagement I get from my viewers. Wish I could get more people to chime in with their opinion on things so I could help either answer questions that people have or give better information videos based on what people want to see/hear. I appreciate you taking the time to comment!
@TheBPHero been here since day one n you've always been open n honest about the products u test..u do great work I'm happy to be a Canadian fan buddy keep it up..
There's only a handful of USA bats that I would recommend hitting anything harder than a 52/300 ball with. The DeMarini Juggy and Mercy lines are the ones that immediately come to mind. I'll have to see if I can come across one and do that testing for you.
I swung a 2017 Watermelon for a while. It was the perfect bat that combined pop, feel, sweet spot, and sound. Those were the peak years for Worth/Miken bats.
this is definitely a harder barrel bat more designed for faster swings speeds while your Melees are designed more for Medium swing speeds. As you said vastly different bats but if you have the swing speed for this bat its one of the best bats on the market.
@@josulli6811 If companies are going to adopt this thing for bats designed specifically for certain bat speeds, I wish they’d make a designation for such, so people know what they’re buying.
My half oz endload model. Has a paint seam within the first 20-25 cuts. I was hitting 52 ZNs to break it in. I messaged the dude on FB and he told me not to worry to much, and to keep him. Posted. Top tier customer service to put me at ease. Added about 40 more swings with senior balls and the seam didn't get any worse and the bat is a rocket launcher. **side note, I'm definitely not a one piece guy and this thing changed my mind **
Demarini bats always feel odd to me for some reason regardless of weighting, Utrip, 240/220, or ASA/USA. Just can't get used to the handle or the swing weight.
@@TheBPHero man I hear that for sure. I've been through 3 different pair just this season. I guess I'm gonna have to spend the money and get some bolts I reckon.
I was in a bit of a rush to get this out I missed some things like specs and overall my point in the melee “rant” was to illustrate where it fits in what I game and how I relate a bat to the feedback I get in relation to my gamer so it makes sense to viewers. Hope that helped clear that up. Bottom line this bat is really good!
Dodge didn't do many things right for sure LOL. I gotta stop watching your videos. I got that 1pc AP4,...brand new still, can't swing yet (torn tendon and UCL) and now want to buy this thing. Maybe I should go work on the car instead.
Should have elaborated on it a little, trying to get better at using details when wearing these mics instead of doing voiceovers. This and the Bedlam do have a bit of a different feel to them, IMO. The endload on this was more pronounced and the barrel was tighter. Seemed to perform just fine though!
