This isn't a full test.... Humans can hear up to 20khz. Your only half way there. A hearing test means that you are testing all the frequencies that a human can hear not half.
Fun fact, you should wear ear protection with while shooting a .22 LR, don't be stupid like me, i heard everything, but that doesnt make me ear hurt less
OO NO, no no! Hang on here a wee mo,,, this so called test you're hereon running is at best rather unscientific & maybe pretty darn right misleading as at best I feel it is going to produce vastly differing inaccurate results depending upon first of all the type of connection used by those whom try to run the test, as to make the sound, i.e. whether folk are using a basic smartphone or a top class desktop computer with high grade sound card plus an awful lot will also depend on the type of speakers or the quality of the headphones one connects in order that one hears the tone played back to them through the HiFi or very LowFi one has to use, so I feel that this should be made very clEAR here, should it not??!!
'm 83 and heard 8k~ in both ears; back in the day using my test equipment, I could hear 16k~. I believe my HF range was damaged by a Craftsman belt sander that had a very noisy HF gear reduction set to the point of pain and I just disregarded it....
A lot of these sounds only in my left ear (I did the whole video twice one with a headphone in one ear) would fade in an out when the sound would go off And some of them I only heard for a moment at the first pitch change then didn’t hear anymore And now my left ear hurts I had the volume on the lowest setting and only up 3 dials.
I am 45, according to the test my ears are 42 - I'll take that! We are just about to start offering comprehensive hearing examinations at the opticians I work at, it'll be interesting to see what the tests they carry out reveal!
Hello punk rockers and metalheads!! Come to see if your ears are losing quality too, eh? My right ear has lost some hearing oddly but not my left. I wonder why?
