In retrospect I love that this contrasts so well with the Tears of the Kingdom final dungeon. Here you're *Ascending* to greater heights, reaching up to the spirits. Meanwhile, the hero of the wilds is descending deeper and deeper into Gloom's Lair. They truly captured how epic this moment was in Spirit Tracks and decided they had to do it a third and fourth time afterwards. The first iteration being Ganon's Tower, and the third being Lorule Castle. It might get old for some, but I hope they do this again with whatever comes next for Zelda.
Hi there, I've remastered this song, please give it a listen here if youd like, thank you!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iwDfuhFSM68.html
Hearing Link's tippy-tappy steps brings this a new kind of feel. I love it. I'd start from the very bottom and slowly but surely walk up all these stairs with the knowledge I got so far as to hear the music at the top, I managed to keep pushing through hardship and make this happen. This moment. The realization of accomplishment.
Koji Kondo did not compose this. The last Zelda game he was the main composer on was Majoras Mask. After that he's mainly credited as a Zelda composer because of his earlier work being revamped. As far as I can tell Toru Minegishi made this. edit: Apparently Toru Minegishi also made the startup sound for the Gamecube which is also legendary.
I hoping not to reach the top to continue listening to this wonderful melody (I'm stupid because I just had to stand or go back to the beginning to go back to the tower xd) edit: you didn't realize that this was in the original commentary and therefore not an edit ...XD
I hear the game audio too, but this track is powerful enough that it doesn't detract in the slightest. Composition is one of those reasons I love this game
Can we just appreciate how they made a theme that adds up the more you progress through the game? Like this is actually insane for something only a few people will notice at all. Think about it: You have to clear a whole tower segment, have to get a new map, drive to a new town, drive to a new lockomo so that he extends the map, get to another dungeon and clear the entire dungeon just to go back to the tower and hear the new addition to the theme. And 15 seconds later you do the same. If you play the game normally and don’t pay attention you won’t even hear this properly
Waterlemon , I will gonna replay it, it was my first Zelda game when I was 12 but never understand the timeline but now I’m playing all games to understand it at all and just finished Wind Waker and I’m coming for Phantom Hourglass and then this one that I really love! Is good to see that some people love this game even in 2020!
Fun fact: if you use the moon jump cheat in this zone and levitates for a while the music speed will increase. If you levitates for like 5 minutes the music would be like 1.75 times faster!
The spirits in the tower of spirits tell the tale of the hero. "Ah a child hero. with courage in hand, and wisdom at his side. not even the great demon king malladus with all of his power could ever dare to stop this brave adventurer."
