I loved the JDM day. I attend many of your shows throughout the year, but this one was a first me and my new favourite. Credit to all those drifters for their expertise & style in making such a great show, especially in the heat!
Looks like a good day out. Never seen so. Many minis in one place before. Next up JDM with the type R 🤙🏻 Little annoyed that I asked to fly my drone (as a content creator) and was told no. “Drones aren’t allowed at all” and then see one flying In This video. I even explained I’m fully registered and insured.
Hi Luke, Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, we receive a huge amount of requests to fly drones at each event, but only ever allow our in-house media team to do so. Thanks for your understanding.
So if the attendance wasn`t lower than normal why did you cancel it in 2023 with the promise of it returning in 2024 " bigger and better" your words. only to be cancelled from the events schedule without a word of explanation. I have attended the miniday since the mid nineties; the circuit from the "Bobbies chicane" to the top of "Avon Rise" paddock and spectator areas would full of club stands, traders, and track session participants. Attendance has dropped over recent years, whilst i understand that the day has to show a profit to continue Castle Comb have not done anything visible to encourage people, track users, or traders back to this once very popular event.
