Thanks so much for your information! I’m curious your thoughts on Quantum University or if you’ve heard of it? They say you can get a degree in Holistic, Natural, and Integrative Medicine 100% self-paced, online. I haven’t been able to find much information on it.
If you do an accreditation search, it looks like they might not have any accreditation at all... ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/home On their website it says they're accredited by "a variety of professional certification boards". Which means that they have some professional connections and are respected within a few organizations... Personally, I would find something that's Regionally Accredited.
Law school is actually 3 years for the vast majority of programs. The field is oversaturated now as well, driving down compensation for new grads who aren't from the top schools. Most are not making 6 figures out the gate anymore.
What is not oversaturated? Every major and job that pays highs are oversaturated because every high achievers are now trying to get high paying job. The job market is just not great. If not easy to found job.
We chatted before. I’m double majoring in physics and computer science and plan to minor in Math and MIS (Management Information Systems). I wonder if I can hack the computer science position and get a dual degree instead of a double major🤔
Most "Hackable" tech programs don't offer dual degree options. But double majoring is common. And yes, computer science is something that can be hacked.
Legal Studies specifically can't be 100% hacked, but there are a ton of degrees that can be used as pre-law that can be hacked. I've seen business, psychology, criminal justice, and even tech degrees used for pre-law.
I've helped students from 16 year old to 80 years old. The only thing I've seen become a barrier for older students is using computers to actually get the degree. Sometimes older students struggle navigating, other than that... I haven't seen age as a major factor.

Not many options out there for self paced engineering programs. But hacking something like computer science, then doing a Master's in Engineering would be pretty awesome!
I am from Cameroon leaving in south Africa i only payed $60 so its free. They have given me scholarships 3times and its helping less pervilage people like us. I will soon be getting my cs degree from this university. I am happy 😊
Whether you're enrolled in high school, or another college... You normally can't be enrolled in more than one school at the same time. Having said that, you can be earning credits in other ways, even if you aren't enrolled yet.

I am trying to reach for my Buisness Admin degree right now for cuyamaca because the perks are amazing from it. Plus you can make a lot of money from it. It is way better than any of the other degrees that is out right now. All of the other degrees don't even make since and there just lying to you in the type of degrees you want because they want you to be able to work for the rest of your life and not live behind your needs, so it is better to get a degree in Busnesss. Hard to get, but that is what I am reaching for right now!
WGU doesn't give gpa's. The degrees are pass or fail. Most colleges won't accept towards a graduate degree. I thought I had it all figured out until that bombshell was dropped.
I think that's a common misconception. Most schools will accept WGU grads. I've found that it usually doesn't matter outside of medical schools. But even then, there are ways around that. That was my school of choice. I like that they're structured so that you can test out of classes and skip the coursework if you prove you already have the knowledge.

I just checked and if I'm not mistaken, they have the online program for international students who are willing to live in the US for studies. Not the “Get the degree from anywhere in the world” type of program.
@@re_reem It sounds like you were looking at their residential program. What you are looking for is UMPI Your Pace program, it is online, it is competency based, learn at your own pace like WGU except they don’t have proctor exams. You just need to prove English proficiency which appears to not be a problem for you.
Accreditation is not the only factor. For example.. University of Phoenix is Regionally Accredited, but they have a bad rep. A few classes from Study is no big deal.. But if you're following the trend of getting let's say.. 3 years of your degree through study.. it's kinda like attending a lower level school for 3 years, then transferring for the last year just for the name.. But your transcripts still tell the full story. Hope that makes sense.
I’m actually currently a CBE student at SNHU. Currently you can enroll to these programs through what they call “community partners” they are local programs that help with academic work and such. There are community partners all over the country. My community partner is in Boston when I’m from but we have people enrolled from California so it doesn’t really matter where geographically you are located

It's so crazy to been graduated in less than a year haha. Im from Argentina, here a bachelors degree takes at least 5 years, I hate this system of long-term education instead of 2-3 years

MY EXPERIENCE WITH UOP: UOP told me they are Regionally acredited, and prior to enrollment encouraged me to do some sophia then transfer previous college credits. I was told, and it is also stated in the admissions statement within the student dashboard when you apply, that transcripts have to be sent thru their admission upload section (which can only de bone by the student when logged in). There is no college code they have to provide to have transcripts sent directly to them from other schools. I asked. I sent in college transcripts and sophia transcripts (Sophia is a credit partner with UOP) now 4x. They were denied because they say they won't accept digital copies of transcripts even if they are scans of originals, only originals from schools. This is completely different than what their posted policy is. They won't take faxes or paper originals from schools, and they won't take a notarized copy authenticating transcripts from a college either! So they want the student to upload a digital form of the original but when they do it is a digital copy they won't accept! I had Sophia submit directly to the UOP advisor and it was rejected for not being submitted thru the student portal by the student, which is how it was previously rejected because it was not "original". No one at the school is helping. It took 3.5 weeks to get 1 call back and they were clueless about what to do and told me to keep attempting submissions the same way until it works! Months later and still no progress on this. If you have a question for an instructor, good luck. I have received no reply when I have requested help ie for them to clarify a complex matter they were vague about for an assignment. It has been disappointing. It makes no sense and I have so many classes done but can't get any credit for them so I am looking for another school to finish my business degree.
UMGC will accept a lot of outside transfer credits from 3rd parties. But they don't have self paced programs inside the school. So you'd still be doing a good chunk of the degree at "normal pace". So yes.. faster is possible, but not as fast as other schools, and you'd have to do a lot of 3rd party courses to accelerate. Shoot me an email if you're looking for faster paths.
