the fourth season finally brought #Minardi well deserved first point by PL Martini. 1989 or 1993 would not have been possible without that foundation layed.
The whole event was and is set up thanks to Mr. Minardi himself and Pierluigi Martini. Now takes year every summer to prepare the track etc. for MotoGP or the Emilia-Romangna GP.
The only way Minardi ever was going to overcome that gap, is when one of the Jordans would have dropped out of Indy. You can guess what I was praying for that day.
same here. a shame it's unlikely to happen anytime soon. On the other hand there was no Lotus for about 15 years and suddenly there were two on the grid.
RIPA seems to be an italian distributor for model cars (like minichamps series), www.ripasrl.com/en/ . Since Minardi is based in Italy that would fit nice. And I do have a Benetton with Minichamp sponsor on it's sidepods so a Minardi with RIPA would not be to far of this.
Was a fan of this little team, Sandro Nannini should have had a much better F1 career if it wasn't for the helicopter crash. Rumour has it that he was on his way to Ferrari if the crash hadn't happened.
Hey man. I wanna give som constructive criticism. In my opinion, the text shift way too fast. I'm not a native English speaker and i have a real hard time keeping up with the shifting text. For me too read and understand the text you write, i have too skip back and watch the same text twice before i get done reading and understanding. Hope you could use my input.
There will never be a greater Italian F1 driver name than Fabrizio Barbazza although Domenico Schiattarella is every bit a match. I will pause any video that contains the M193B/M194 cars - true beauties.
As Paul Stoddart was a Arrows F1 team sponsor in 2000 and he also run the Arrows F3000 operation with his team European Formula Racing, the EFR 026T as the two-seater was nemad was operating under 'The Arrows 2 Seater Experience' banner in 2000. In 2002, Michael Schumacher drove one of the two-seater at Fiorano and following that Marlboro rent one for their Marlboro Red Racing School in 2003 and 04 before Ferrari built their 3-seater.
Thanks for giving me useful info on the twoseaters history. My Info is mainly based on the former Minardi F1X2 website and what I have seen and heard about 'em ever since 2006. Unfortunately this was not really mentioned there.
I remember watching this race unfold as it happened. I have never been so embarrassed to say that I am a fan of F1 as I was that day. Aside from Paul Stoddart, another person who hit the nail on the head, albeit in a more wordy way, was ITV's lead commentator at the time, James Allen: "Well it's an illustration of how the teams in Formula One simply can't agree, even in the most extreme circumstances. The FIA didn't seem to want to help either. Formula One should be deeply ashamed of itself today, it lost all semblance of common sense here at Indianapolis. Pinch me! Did I really see this?!"
it worked to bring 'em back for the final round and final test but after that Caterham's journey ended. Compared to what they spent moneywise it's still weird that they never scored any points.
The day the team was sold, nothing of the old structures remained. Therefore, one cannot speak of a kind of continuation. Thanks anyway! I like your videos about Minardi!
I agree. But in comparision to other names Minardi remained and remains kinda active in the world motorsport even without a team of it's own. Except for Eddie Jordan himself I never heard the Name Jordan in relation with racing again. Same with Arrows or Tyrell to name a few with Minardi links. Thanks for supporting my video content.
The ones in my video seem to be most of usable 97 pictures. There weren't as many digital camers back in the day... You could reach out to somewhat like CTDP for rFactor (www.ctdp.net/) which means guy working on MODs for games. They gave me some 2005 pictures from each race that I hadn't seen before. Even if there is no 97 Mod jet. Worth a try?
@@Minardimaniac Thanks sir. But I'm only looking for this car. I will be building a paper model of it and I want to make a different version than the one available from Spain. Still, thank you and greetings.
@@martinkrivan4400 I forgot that forzaminardi.com is still a thing including a forum (even if not very active). Maybe someone else with a passion for Minardi give more useful advice.
A clarification about that Minardi PS01/PS01B, the engine model that you say it used, they did not use it until the 2003 season, using it until the beginning of the 2005 season (at the 4th GP of 2005 they released their last and most... current single-seater), in that PS01/PS01B question... He had mounted the European v10, the same Ford Zetec v10 that year after year they revised/evolved/renamed from 98 or 99, a true hero in F1 (F.Alonso did authentic miracles with that chassis-engine binomial, a chassis that was practically the same as last season and... It was one of the worst single-seaters, the poor reliability of the Prost-Peugeot saved it from being last)
