Loved the recap. It didn't make me sad at all that I wasn't there 😢 Honestly though, so happy you were able to attend again and I was stoked for you from the very first purchase, Dawn of Sorrow if a hell of a game!
You guys were greatly missed during that weekend. But it was a great time over all, and happy to have found some of those games during the show. But when I get more time, I’ll have to sit down and play Dawn of Sorrow. :)
Great content and don't stop! and do not be afraid to publish something if you don't think it's perfect. Just get content out there and your followers/subscribers appreciate the effort more than absolute perfection. It will mold and nurture your creativity and Persona. New subscriber. Sorry for the long winded advice right out of the box in the comment just think you have something that people gravitate to. Honestly Impressed What is the next Great Game Exchange type style of expo, convention, event going on? I have been a collector for years and have some additional time to attend an event and showcase what I have been collecting and such.
The next show I’ll be at is Cleveland Gaming Classic in September, I’ll be a vendor for that show. Other than that, then I’ll be a vendor for TORG in November. But much appreciated for checking out the channel and sub!
Amazing to finally meet my friend! Thank you for being so kind and allowing me to have a part in this, very humbled and appreciative! Wonderful coverage, so many great people in this vid and just a fantastic weekend! ❤️🎮
Gggrrrr!!!! I’m so mad!!!! Hahaha jk jk. It was a blast man, thanks for having me on, one of these days I will win the live version of console conflict! 13:18
Without really knowing the prices of all the SNES games, I'm just hoping you come out in the plus, but I'm sure you calculated that all out. Our pawn shops in the area won't even look at sports games, even the expensive ones. Don't move here but I'm happy to hear that they do all right there. With 360 being hot right now, I think that's an extra tick in your favor. Wish we could say we'd be seeing you at SEGE but unfortunately it just can't happen this year. High five my friend! Hope you have an amazing trip in a few weeks and you make some great deals and trades.
I had to before making an offer, cause just Firestriker and the Taito Flinstones game is over $200 together. But totally agree with 360 being very popular to collect for, I’m just glad I was able to get most of the stuff I wanted very early on. Sad you guys won’t be here for SEGE this year, hopefully you can join next year. :)
@@chicknwings I really wish I could say next year could happen but all of our funds and savings are going towards taking our son to Scotland as a big graduation family trip. We're probably looking at 2026 sadly
I get cons not wanting you to bring food in for the general public but as far as vendors go there should be a bit of leeway there especially since like you said it's almost impossible to leave the booth if you're vending. It's likely not the people that created the event as much as the building there hosting it in... but still. Sounds like you gave out lots of great deals and had an amazing day of vending. Gamers unite!
The green button controllers are first run. The blue button controllers are second run. Take it from someone that played Steel Battalion and Steel Battalion Line of Contact. You guys have no idea how amazing the game was. Top 5 most memorable game of my life time.
I need to hurry up and do the HDMI mod on my OG Xbox and refurbish the rest of it so I can dig out my Steel Battalion setup and play with it again. The whole thing is insane. I just wish they had made more than just two games.....
This game is still being played online as we speak, the campaign is back up and we are having 2 5v5s as I speak, look up the Steel Battalion Line of Contact community to join!
Dude, congrats on Jack Bros! I'd be hard pressed wanting to ever get rid of it but at the same time I get where you're coming from. Don't ever apologize for not being able to get content out, especially since it's the holidays and so many other things take priority. Merry, belated Christmas and Merry belated New Year :)
Thanks again guys! Yeah I’m excited to have finally got Jack Bros, the one rare game I always wanted to own. When I get more of a chance, I’ll have to do a proper sit down play through of it. One of the few Atlas games I always wanted to own up until now. But yeah I wanted to make more for the Game On Network channel for the rest of the year, but never got around to it. I’m working on getting back to doing interviews again, and would love to get you both on the show sometime!
Hallmark really impressed me last year with their Sega Genesis ornament (featuring music and sound effects from Sonic the Hedgehog 1), and they're continuing to do it with the Dreamcast ornament, featuring music from Sonic Adventure and a sprite of Sonic in the VMU. Previous console ornaments included the NES with Super Mario Bros. 1 in 2020 and the SNES with Super Mario World in 2021. Who knows what console or even handheld ornaments Hallmark will release in the future? I can think of quite a few that could be done: * Game Boy with Tetris * Game Gear with Sonic the Hedgehog 1 * Sega Saturn with Sonic 3D Blast (it could even play Diamond Dust Zone for added festive flair) * Nintendo 64 with Super Mario 64
Let me know if you happen to get one, and what would be the first game you’d play on it be down in the comments. For me, I’m looking forward to playing Air Zonk finally!
The short supply and making it screw over the consumer hurts. Kind of why it’s necessary for companies to keep ahold of enough stock for those that want to own one.
@@chicknwings well I have a modest collection of Turbochip cards from back in the day. So I played a little Bonk 1-2 and some Kieth Courage to bring back the feelings from when I got my original Turbografx 16 from Toys R Us in 91
All Pro Football 2K8 has gone up in value a bunch over the last few years. It's reputation as arguably the best football game ever has gotten around in the sports gamer world.
It’s understandable at that too, was the last big football game from 2k before EA took over the licensing. But it’s a shame, there needs to be competition.
@@chicknwings Absolutely. I'm glad I got my copy before people knew about it. Got it for 3 dollars at GameStop back when they were still selling 360 games.
I ran, not walked to my local Hallmark store to get it, along with the Sonic Spin ornament. CVS used to carry a sweet collection of ornaments, but was disappointed there was almost none. Absolutely love these ornaments, Dreamcast was a big part of my youth in 1999-2000 ❤
So happy to hear you had an amazing time at Cleveland gaming classic. Sounds like you did amazing as far as vending and you had some great pickups. Love to seeing Jay on your video as well. She is one of the best guys in the gaming community. I miss you both already. Can't wait till we can meet up at a gaming convention again
Here’s hoping you guys get to make SEGE next year, was such a good convention. But which ever ones you guys decide to go to, will hopefully try to go to it also. Might have to make Conbravo if that one is still going.
@@chicknwings Steel Battalion was what convinced me to get the Xbox. It was my very first Xbox game and I loved it. I still have the first run controller (green buttons) and the box for that thing.
Kind of awesome to see what everyone was hunting for at the show. I went in looking for stuff on the 3do but wasn't finding anything so I pivoted to Turbografx.
It was so nice to meet ya at SEGE and you had some fun pick ups. I really love the shirt and then ofcourse you went ham on some Nintendo Power mags. Nice!
I’ve only got a handful of games left on my list of games I want, but I enjoy collecting for gaming magazines a lot. Tons of good publications back then, but absolutely love collecting them. But yes, was good to get to hang with you guys for the short time we had there!
Sydney…. Nebraska? Thought I’d take a shot guessing.😀 I know this is a month old but those games are in excellent shape. I’m intrigued about Call of Duty Black Ops and Ghosts, Mario Party 10, Sonic Lost World, The Wind Waker and Paper Mario. Do you trade or sell? I’ve got a pretty good Wii U collection, as well as a pretty darn good Switch collection, and a few PS4 gems. I have some retro stuff too.
