This channel is something to help chart my progress and explain my slightly bizarre hobby to those that know me and anyone who might find these videos enjoyable and or informative.
I've worked extensively in the Digital Security Industry and this is something of a happy extension to my long term profession
Lock picking for me is a challenge or puzzle to be solved, most physical security attacks are brute force, lock picking is more similar to a practiced art and is generally not a practical way to break security due to the time and skill required. Where I do encounter a design flaw or other weakness then I feel this information should be in the public to domain to improve user awareness, if people keep buying poor quality locks then the manufacturers will keep making them. Security by Obscurity benefits no one.
Stay legal! Don't pick locks that you don't own. Don't pick locks in use, at some point you'll brick a lock trying to get it open, ideally it won't be the one to your house
Thank you KB, these are doing the rounds on the UK Coloseumn of locksport at moment, they are in the wind now so eventually they will get to the USA I'm sure, keep an eye out, they're good fun
Nice one Paul mate 👍 👍 I really enjoyed that very much indeed, great picking as always. Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻 All the very best to you and yours 🍻 🍻 CHEERS 🍻 🍻
Incredibly quick paul! Great job on the assa 700 🎉 it certainly is one of my favourites. I like the single tensioner you made. My second tensioner wasn't great so it was quite tricky to use. I'll have to attempt one myself. Great work Paul!
Chevy thanks very much for that, I really appreciate the comment. Honestly surprised at how quick it was myself, quite glad I dropped the pin and had to recover, felt like more of an achievement, the tensioner really made all the difference for me.
Hi ,Paul 👋🏻 Very perfect work 👏 👍 And your opening of this lock was great 👍 We say that patent "pijovka 😅" I'm use wet napkins cut into strips. One cm wide and as long as needed ...! It's not difficult and fast. A wet napkin does this process better than a rope. Sometimes I add WD40 to better tamp it. I know this lock and the problematic moments in it. Cool done ✔️ Mate Great video. ...... If you put wd40 in your opening will more good 👍 But you have best work Mate 😊
A good fitting tensioner, that can control the core, is 50% of picking a lock. Fantastic picking Paul and thanks for sharing mate. Take care and have a great weekend.
Hi 👋🏻 Paul Great picking. Nice Assa . Red belt one before black ⚫️..if I say right ✅️ 😏 🤔... Cool pins, very good manufacturing of this lock 🔐 😳 🎉 Congratulations. Nice done ✔️ 👏 Good luck 👍
@paulg413 Paul maybe you can help me about this thematic with belts. If you know it and if you have time. I need to watch maybe some video or will right on the photo 📸 what kind of belt have locks 🔒.. I'll try to find this too . But if you yes can to help I'll be happy 😊 Thank you for all, Mate 👍💯☮️🌎🌍🌏
@@Tipa-fw2rz this should help, you can scroll though all of the locks ranked by each belt, there are photos and the intervals for most of them lpubelts.com/#/locks?tab=search&id=1a7a23d4&name=Abloy_Disklock_Pro_Novel
Awesome Work, I truly believe they are more of Visual deterrent then actual locking security. Have a Wonderful Weekend, and Best of Luck in the contest!!!
@@paulg413 the good thing is the list just keeps growing with new talent, and everyone brings something different to the table. It truly is the hobby that just keeps giving😊
Nice one Paul mate 👍 Lovely lock, I think Mur-Lock68 took one apart for some reason? Cheers and all the best to you and yours Jolly good luck in the draw 🍀 🍀 🍀
Nice job Paul, i loved that lock, those false sets it can go into are really funny, I enjoyed that a lot, it’s a shame you didn’t get a go on sh!t & biscuits 😂
@@paulg413 yes it went back to Tinnie then came back to me again, & that’s when I video’d it, Actually Redacted also went back with it for a little modification & as you saw all is fine now, not that there was anything horribly wrong, they were just a little catchy that would of frightened some people in to thinking they were bricked, but Tinnie is a perfectionist & wanted them perfect 🕺
