Pronouncing Schleich how you did when you grew up is so REAL, I only started saying Sh-like when my bf pointed out a sign in Barnes & Nobles that had the proper pronunciation on it, and I started feeling a little silly. 😆 (Also, the ENDLESS comments about how to say it right. 😭)
Some people will price things higher than their original price if they're either popular and therefore in demand, or if they're really not being sold anywhere anymore (same thing happens with LPS especially Gen 2 ones). Also ALWAYS check shipping prices!! Sometimes something can seem reasonably priced but the shipping can throw it off completely and then it's not worth it. As for Amazon, if the listing has the company name/brand in bold under the pic then I believe that's 100% authentic? I got, like...all mine in recent years from there and they've been fine
I’ve actually found some pretty good dog lots by searching toy dog figures I found some pretty good deals with that also if you wanna know more about some retired Schleich dogs I’d recommend checking out the toy animal wiki it has information on basically every figurine
