Hello! My name is Rob Hlebinsky and I am an organist and Disney enthusiast whose musical tastes stray far outside the world of "traditional" organ music. My number one goal as an organist is to promote the instrument I love and try to make it accessible to a much larger audience. Each month, I will be adding new solo organ arrangements of well-known movie music (mostly from Disney films). You can catch the new arrangements on the first Friday of each month. Other arrangements, classical pieces, and vlogs are released on subsequent Fridays. Please subscribe to keep up with my latest videos!
My piano skills have always been hardly middling, and my form is terrible. I am much better at the trumpet, but this is just otherworldly. You make it look so easy! Hats off to you!
Schoen gespielt. Die Orgel scheint mir mit den Mikrofonen etwas zu direkt aufgenommen worden zu sein. Etwas mehr Hall haette allen Stuecken gut getan .❤❤
What a terific piece of music. I loved Once upon a Decemeber since i was a child. But your combination of the Song and the organ is wonderful. The selection of pipes and registers is also really fantastic. Thanks for this great video
The Beauty and the Beast sequel has a lot of organ music since the "villain" is a living Organ (I guess it counts as a prequel since the story happens before the curse is lifted) my added note is that I think that your recording without a bass boost so the full range of the organ is not present for your listeners. I had to make sure I had the settings on my earphones still at the proper levels, I saw that you were pressing the peddles but barely if at all heard the lower range. (it also make the middle range sound a little tin-ey)
There so so much here to like. The arrangement. A fantastic instrument. The obvious skill of the organist. But…something intangible is missing. A feeling. A twinge of desperation. Of grandeur. A spirit. Something…. The intangible thing that’s not there is what would make me taste the salt air. The thing that makes me feel a British ship of the line is bearing down on me. It’s great, but it could but it could be magical.
Hey Yensid, VGM organist here -- perhaps you remember my nickname in conjunction with JonnyMusic as we were feeding the same organ music forums :) Thanks for sharing not only the stop tour of "your" organ, but also for explaining all the rest about pipe families, pitch levels, mutations, couplers, etc. etc. -- this came in handy right now as an educational video to share with other social media users, as I'm too lazy to explain the same thing over and over by myself... 😆Excellent work, buddy. 👍
What a stunning sanctuary! I see some design elements that remind me of Harold Wagoner’s work (First United Methodist Church of Orando is one of his projects). Love the voicing on this organ!
Un de mes jeux préféré de mon enfance, très fidèle à la réalité, vous avez un grand talent ! Bravo à vous et merci 👏👏👏 🥰 PS : Vous avez réussi à me faire pleurer à la fin 🤭
Ah yes. Good, ol' Casavant. It's one of my favourite pipe organ builders, especially for their signature sound. Hence why ever since I switched to using Hauptwerk for my organ cover videos that I've been using Sonus Paradisi's Casavant, Bellevue Sample Set since then, and I have no regrets getting it. 🙂
