Disk loading is about the same as with 2-Blade 385U. This setup uses RT-362 but the grips are longer to make up for that difference. Stability goes up & so does tracking, an absolute rock. Cyclic is just.. bonkers powerful & predictable & the best part ofc... the SOUND!
Nice rigid and smooth flying ! Now I have fun with LOGO700. However I am going to buy M7 If work as well as LOGO700 at wight length RPMs. Is the vibration level of the M7 higher than that of the LOGO700? Also, what are the differences in flight characteristics of the M7 compared to the LOGO700?
I flew a L700 prior to this bc it was my fave as far as flying characteristics go. The M7 took what I already liked about that heli & made it even better, super fluid & predictable while having a very wide rpm range. Heli is incredibly serene, especially with its dampened fbl tray & counterweight, theres absolutely no vibe problems in it.
the logo 700 is a garbage heli that's no longer even produced. the pin in the main gear is very difficult to install and if u fly with any aggressiveness at all even at moderate headspeeds the pin with eventually destroy the plastic gear and you lose tail control mid flight. i am hoping this new heli has a logo type flying characteristic but with much better build quality. logo 600 has the best feel in flight of anything i've flown, but even the good logos are prone to tail problems and not very pleasant to work on.
This huge heli looks so unbelievable light in the air even with the lowest headspeed you used in this beautiful smooth flight at the beginning of your video! Great flight with a fantastic performing great looking heli!! I can't wait to see more videos to come!
Did the motor come with bullets pre-soldered onto the leads to plug directly into the ESC? Also, did the battery end of the ESC come with an Xt60 pre-soldered on?
Very clean flight! I just ordered the M4 Max in the same canopy color. It will be my very first build, and I'm excited. But it will also be the first time I install or setup a FBL and I don't know AT ALL how to do it, LOL! I'm sure you'll be getting the M7 as well. Subscribed!
Thanks!! If you follow the manual & read carefully you'll be totally fine as its relatively simple & not that many parts compared to others. There are plenty of helpful videos on how to setup & tune your fbl of choice & you bet, I'll be getting the M7 very soon 👀
Nice flight. Im stuck between this and a Raw 420 as my next helicopter. If this heli performs hard 3d with a high headspeed as well as the Raw I definitely want the lightest of the 2. Any chance you know a take off weight comparison?
raw is about 200g heavier & has an undersized motor. You'll definitely prefer the MAX for a 420 & it runs on 380 size heli batteries which keep things cheap as well. My max sits at 1520g rtf with a 6S 2000mah.
Wow, great and very fluent flight! The performance of this M4 Max is just unbelievable! I love how silent the motor is at 2100 RPM and the blade sound is just great! I am curious how much power was left in the OMPHOBBY 2000 mAh battery? Voltage per cell?
Nice, i just got back into flying hell's with 2 OMP M2 EVO. this one is next, what is your CONTROL BOARD SET UP? I fly with ZERO pitch in the middle on ALL modes, N 1 AND 2. With 8 degrees of Positive and Negative pitch. Thanks in advance. I def have to get back on the SIMM, LOLOLOL.
@@xcellfury99 Yes that i understand, what i mean is your ACTUAL CONTROL BOARD, Speed, Agility, Gyor, thats what i meant. They come set up at 5 all the way around, thats my question, sorry if i didn't explain myself better.
