If you put the effort in this will reward you, just give it a week of effort and you’ll be good, the odds are way too good for you to get bad luck. Two Pokémon popping up back to back, it’s fairly fortunate
Solid method honestly if you wanna just chill and not keep rebooting your console, obviously it can take time but having to soft reset can be exhausting on ur fingers, this is a better way
My Pokémon Platinum Eterna forest hunt: (3 shiny's as of November 22, 2022) 1) Bidoof ~ 5032 different Pokémon seen. 2) Bidoof ~ 2496 different Pokémon seen. 3) Bidoof ~ 5032 different Pokémon seen I will continue till i find something different i swear!! /Edit - After taking quite a lengthy break due to 4x more encounters then my highest bidoof. I, as of June 5, 2023 can say I'm now moving on past this forest. 4) Beautifly ~ 20580 different Pokémon seen (1% Encounter chance) - 57h, 42m.. I don't even have words. I'm wishing everyone who takes on this challenge the best of luck!! May you all find your targets fast! /Edit#2 - Well.. I came back.. I couldn't go through until i got the shiny i really wanted (buneary) and so the hunt continued. 5) Buneary ~ 7850 Different Pokémon seen. 6) Gastly ~ 22630 Different Pokémon seen. As of September 30, 2023. I am officially done in this forest (for real 110%).. I wanted to stop after Buneary but i was hoping to get that budew, but i found a gastly at almost triple the odds. I am happily going to move on and not look back. 63,620 - Wild Pokemon seen overall resulting in 6 shinies. 4 below odds, 2 more then double. 175 total hours spent amongst the year.. Again, wishing everyone the best with this hunt.. But it's time i move on to some fossils and relax far away from this forest.. Goodluck everyone!!

was that 19.5k REs done in a single phase? I’m currently doing the same hunt at valley windworks in platinum, I’m also using a Statiker. currently at 15,9k REs on my first phase on a single device tho
Shiny hunting is all luck based so you'll never know when you're actually going to get a shiny or not. Depending on the games you're hunting in the odds of finding a shiny change. Assuming you're not doing any methods that increase your odds, gens 2-5 are all 1/8192 and gens 6 and up are all 1/4096.

Yeah sorry I am late by a … year but some advice is that your mic is WAYYY too quiet compared to the music at the beginning but other than that there isn’t any difference compared other poketubers who do these types of videos.
I got shiny Rotom in my Platinum cartridge after 1638 resets. Now going for Shiny Eevee at 1633 resets. I have yet to face Fantina for badge 3. The rest of my team is shiny Monferno (912 Resets), shiny Staravia (1352 random encounters on 201), shiny Gyarados (136 encounters in Twinleaf). I can get 200-400 resets a day depending on how much free time I have. Its been a week now for Eevee.

wow, you know i have been doing a badge quest in hg and im on the 4th member without a hunt over 3000. i was concerned about my 4th hunt going a while but seeing a first encounter after 3 hunts under 2000, i have faith. thanks for that and congrats
@@ThomasSeeds yeah,my three member I have so far are chikorita (1566)I named pudu, a Sentret(2857) named cake, and a game corner Dratini(1912) named tabu fini ( text my friend what's the name it and he was fighting against a tabu fini in competitive so)
@@ThomasSeeds not to plug or anything, but if you want to keep up to date I have been posting my shinys to insta (starmander4096). I'm no where near an influencer and im not tring to gain follows just to clarify. I just want people who actually care to see and know about my shinys unlike any of my friends.
Sheer force does not exist in 3rd gen as well as poison moves and ground type moves both being exclusively physical. I used to play comp a lot in gen 6 and ran that nidoking set and it was definitely fun to use but in gen 3 it's horrible.
