Acho essa música uma Obra de Arte. Tudo é bonito aí! Imagens, história, personagens e ... sons! Em particular, falando daquilo que sempre me interessou mais, a participação do guitarrista é antológica. Se me perguntassem por um exemplo de "solo adulto", eu citaria este. Este solo se inicia na forma poética: não há a clara ambição de se expor um ponto de destaque ("ponto culminante", diria H.J. Koellreutter!) e a melodia flui em torno de uma idéia melódica dispersa. Gradativamente, toma forma discursiva e leva o ouvinte a um, cada vez mais, destino sonoro. Fantástico! Não sei se o músico pensou nisso tudo, mas ele o fez! Ademais, a integração da composição com a imagem é maravilhosa.

Boy, I'm glad to see other performers (especially graduates from SAJB) on this album. This is a bit of a departure from the last album and from the albums other SAJB grads have released. Andrea's "Febrero" has some fantastic orchestration - this is the one thing many of these albums have required but lacked. It seems that the music industry is just broken. Alba and Vincent have been able to do more with less than most, but nothing beats a well written composition with enough voices to express the emotional content of the song with every nuance possible. This is simply a richer experience for the listener. This album does sound quite complete, my hat is off to all involved on the project. As an example, the Joan Monné arrangement of "Choro Das Aguas" published by Joan Chamorro, has a slower tempo and is much more dynamic than the original. Monné has worked with Canela before and may have had her personality in mind when working on the arrangement. Besides being down tempo, there is a great deal more dissonance in his arrangement. Joan can really push the dissonance while maintaining very pleasing melodies, and here he has violins, a viola and a cello creating a sound that is close to fingernails on a chalkboard. The lines in the original played by the woodwinds, strings and brass are sung by the orchestra in this arrangement as most of them aren't playing their instruments. This is in strong opposition to the dissonance of the strings and anchors the song beautifully. Also, the frequency dynamic is greater. The emotional tone of this is vastly different than the original. The slower tempo takes more of a contemplative quality, as if to say, "How did I miss this, how did I get this so wrong?" I find this extremely effective, as women tend to be so much more attuned to human relationships and emotional states. All and all this is an arrangement that has far greater and varied emotional content and affects the listener on many levels. Also, the original, Quién Lo Diría, was so bereft of orchestration that I couldn't make heads or tails of it, while the arrangement by Ansgar Striepens (WDR Big Band) completely blew me away! And the arrangement of Sense Pressa by Monné was both lush and gorgeous, even though the original didn't require greater orchestration, and it is therefore much more satisfying. My hope is that you can work with Joan's BigBand or the WDR Big Band and record your music with full orchestration. Alba, you're certainly moving in the right direction, the last album, Susurros Del Viento, was very good. This album is MUCH better. Seeing members and graduates of the SAJB grow by leaps and bounds is not surprising anymore. I hope you, Andrea, Rita, Ava and all the guys from the SAJB take over the music industry (at least in Europe) and turn back the tide of "insípido" expression. This is, after all, an ataque insípido. Vaya, me alegra ver a otros artistas (especialmente graduados de SAJB) en este álbum. Esto es un poco diferente del último álbum y de los álbumes que han lanzado otros graduados de SAJB. "Febrero" de Andrea tiene una orquestación fantástica: esto es lo único que muchos de estos álbumes necesitaban pero les faltaba. Parece que la industria de la música simplemente está quebrada. Alba y Vincent han podido hacer más con menos que la mayoría, pero nada mejor que una composición bien escrita con suficientes voces para expresar el contenido emocional de la canción con todos los matices posibles. Esta es simplemente una experiencia más rica para el oyente. Este álbum suena bastante completo, me quito el sombrero ante todos los involucrados en el proyecto. Además, el original, Quién Lo Diría, estaba tan carente de orquestación que no pude entenderlo, mientras que el arreglo de Ansgar Striepens (WDR Big Band) ¡me dejó completamente boquiabierto! Y el arreglo de Sense Pressa de Monné fue a la vez exuberante y magnífico, aunque el original no requirió mayor orquestación y, por lo tanto, es mucho más satisfactorio. Mi esperanza es que puedas trabajar con Joan's BigBand o WDR Big Band y grabar tu música con orquestación completa. Alba, sin duda avanzando en la dirección correcta, el último disco, Susurros Del Viento, estuvo muy bien. Este álbum es MUCHO mejor. Ver crecer a pasos agigantados a los miembros y egresados de la SAJB ya no sorprende. Espero que tú, Andrea, Rita, Ava y todos los chicos de la SAJB se hagan cargo de la industria musical (al menos en Europa) y hagan retroceder la marea de la expresión "insípido". Se trata, al fin y al cabo, de un ataque insípido.
