"Long stretches of expertise and competence mixed with moments of handpalmingly bad incompetence." Business Email: phrosphor.aus@gmail.com I like to play really odd strategy games and talk about them. Thanks for checking me out!
By the way, the time travel game T Rem was talking about - Quantum Break - is related to AW2, although indirectly. The main character and another character from Quantum Break (or rather, copyright friendly versions of them) are quite important secondary characters in Alan Wake 2.
Ah, it's a shame you didn't do the last loop. It's like 15 minutes long, and has one Remedy-style music section. It's much quicker, everyone you meet already prepares stuff fro you. tl;dr is that this introduced you to 3 things that will be a thing in AW2 (but done way, WAY better), and Dr Dr had it right - this WAS Alan's power fantasy, a failed attempt at getting out of the Dark Place. One of these things was Mr Scratch two others I won't spoil. edit: nvm, you're going to finish it
new mars names. Please No Target practice Live Bait Help Me Sacrificial Chicken I would have said lamb on the last one but chicken would be far funnier
This is turning out to be problematic… You are so far behind in the tech… And wow…dude Way to start a war 😑 Did you think your weakness would have the initiative take pity on you? No, you poked the bear and will have to pay the price. You’ll have to focus on what your play is for the next couple of years in game Good luck!
I use fire control systems as "armor" to protect vulnerable systems on these unarmored builds. Also, even on these really light intercept builds, I find that adding a third gun and going for a single ak-725 is super helpful with a pair of ak-100s. You just hold down right click, letting the 50mm slowly spit out a stream of shots, and as soon as one is going about where you want, you follow it with the 100mm. They seem to have similar speeds, but it just helps you KNOW your shots are going to land.
Incredible episode!! It feels like so many things in this long and desperately hard-fought campaign are coming to a head. Especially seeing that final fight against insane odds after a long journey of barely scraping by to survive... This is CINEMA! I'm so excited for what comes next!
16:26 Those missiles were from the garrison of Hattusa. They came from an angle because the missiles turned to your direction as they started their journey. I saw this a lot with MCGs and was confused too.
In this version of the game you really need a LOT of firepower to survive the airstrikes, missile strikes and strike groups. I have learned that the hard way.
Great to see this campaign is back. One note: you don't lose morale from failing to rescue survivors. The only risk is losing 1/4 of a Kindness point. Since it's almost impossible to build kindness during the campaign, age since crew has absolutely no impact on ship performance, I just stop rescuing survivors
Well 3 thing on this video, 1. Don`t worry about your performance you are doing fine in my book phros 2. the last fight was incredible and tense i love it 3. you should answer the message with a single Heavly armed and armoured ship (OR alternatively play the Faith game and convince him that be interesting to say the least)
55:04 all the ships I submitted had at least an AK-100 so you wouldn't be able to completely ignore them like you can the default Courageous. Very happy to see the little guy living up to that ideal, RIP to the brave crew who fought a cruiser point-blank in that thing
When I realized they had loaded AP I was furious, I thought I could just ignore them and make the fight easier but they decided to go full annoyance and forced my hand. It's been a thorn in my side and somehow also a comedy side-kick to a lot of garrisons all through the campaign.
33:35 Everytime i see someone try to land their ship in this game, i keep remembering that one scene from Madagascar movies. "Gently now. You just wanna kiss the ground. Just a little peck, a smooch like you're kissing your sister."
It is multiple sets of best-available warm clothing for the entire crew of multiple ships, and it did say the merchants took the opportunity to jack up their prices and rip Sayadi off. Still, it is a bit much
4 of 27 ships left. What a brutal campaign. But you have powered through this ridiculous Custom Campaign. Im excited to see how this ends Edit: Jesus H Christ the end of this Video Might be the coolest thing I have ever seen you do in a video, Phros. That pull at the end was BADASS
It's been one long road but we are so close now. Khiva feels achievable. My original plan for the endgame is gone though, I am going to have to do some thinking on the fly.
