Hi friend! It’s Annisa. On my channel, you will find videos on natural birth, elimination communication, potty training, and unconventional parenting styles. I'm that scrunchie mom you always wanted as a friend.

That's not a floor bed. That's a mattress on the floor. Where's the frame? Where are the rails? A mattress alone is not a bed. How do you not know this?
Sorry. I was with the kids 24/7 and didn’t have any childcare help at the time and she didn’t want to do quiet time alone. I thought it would be good to leave it in as an explanation why there was a little girl in the corner.
Easy one in Germany: pregnant nurses don't have to work by law because of the risks of being around sick people and the physically demandimg job. And of course they are getting payed as if they would work. And aftrt birth they enjoy payed maternity leave... in Germany we really Support familys!
That’s awesome and I didn’t know that. Yeah US doesn’t support families. The physical toll of pregnancy has gotten to me and I’m ok maternity leave but my coworker plans to work all the way up to when labor starts. She’s also a nurse.
IMG! I just watch your new video and I had a baby 10 days ago. I love what you are doing. And thank to you I discovered hypnobirthing. I had a successful water birth and second hypnobirthing experience. This is amazing I hope you reach out to so many woman so they can know the power within ourselves
With my third baby on the way I had mixed feelings of excitement and concern. Pregnancy meant less rest with 2 toddlers and childcare concerns. Plus preparing my mind for labor.
I love how you showed the natural interruptions that occur that prevent you as a parent to continue with business as usual. I also moved during this process and we had quite a regression.
Thank you. Oh I recorded a video that I never uploaded… just did first edits but he regressed so much with multiple changes in child care and me going back to work.
Yes, I know it is. There are plenty of spaces for her to play at but she didn't want to leave me and knows that we don't put their faces on the internet. It was her choice on how to spend her quiet time.
Thank you for sharing! I think theres way too many videos showing the pros of montessori, but I appreciate your honesty and showing your reality of what it's like for you. It's definitely something I need to consider before I put the mattress on the floor, haha.
Thank you for your comment. You could always put a mattress on the floor and the a frame if you don’t like it??? I’m discovering I’m not a purist in any parenting advice and it’s best to do what you feel is best for you and your family. 💙 Annisa
Congratulations!! I feel ya on the channel. It’s so disheartening! I’d love to see more home vlogs! I know you don’t post the kids but I’m mostly into family channels and day in the life
i’m so glad my parents trained us with pull-ups because that would be utter humiliating and the cherry on top of the long list of things i have to discuss in therapy.
We cosleep with both our kids together, 3 and 1. We got a King and a Queen, then put them together tightly across the room. Plenty of space for everyone to roll around!
Don't just put your mattress on the floor. While sleeping there's so much humidity and sweat that goes into it and after some time if you don't air it out it'll get moldy underneath.
I just don’t get this video… for my 1 year baby girl the best was getting a flood bed, a queen size. I can breastfeed easily and we can even co-sleep there some times. But every family is different
My son has been on his floor bed (Japanese floor mattress, no rails) since 6 months old. He's never fallen off. He loves the independence and learned quickly how to get on and off. This is ridiculous.
@@Annisa_Kacang I have used depend mens underwear diapers since I outgrew huggies pullups and goodnites due to incontinence I love them and prefer them because they are specifically designed for men and feel and look like big boy underwear instead of a diaper
No I didn’t 😞 I ended up taking a break from posting videos but I’m thinking of starting up again. I like the “Oh Crap” book as a guide. I would do EC until baby is more independent and can walk, pull down pants, and sit independently before attempting potty training. Good job doing EC for 10 months already.
I don’t know that this is a good example or accurate points when you aren’t using a real floor bed. You’re just using a mattress on the floor which is SO VERY different lol😂
I have seen plenty of families in real life (not on social media) use a mattress on the floor. A mattress on or close to the floor with or without frame is a floor bed.
Another way to get them to use the bathroom but not make a mess is you could put a pull up over the underware so they feel the wet but it doesn’t make a mess
Diapers are not a big deal there only small for awhile let them be little while they can plus it saves on clean up,dirty clothes and loss of sleep from wet sheets
My brown Asian mommy always wanted to cosleep like her family but in the 90s Dr Spock was teaching everyone “cry it out” so she’d sneak into our room every night & sleep on a chair 🥲 hate seeing WOC stigmatized for our cultural practices. In one generation, 90% of parents now cosleep- that’s crazy & great!
I’m one of 6 kids so my parents pretty much had to cosleep considering lack of space/rooms. My brown Asian self saw my culture doing that as the norm. I feel like western culture is all about scaring parents from cosleeping, sleep positions, feeding baby, even now I get criticism on how much my toddler weighs (he’s small).
Such a deceiving video. First you got a mattress with a grey cover great, very minimalistic and asthetic (not) and you didnt do anything regarding montesori where is where the whole concept comes from.
Sorry I’m not a Montessori channel but I implement it where I can and a mattress in the floor gives the child freedom and independence. I know gray isn’t the best. I lack decor skills. I had other bed sheets before but we wanted something neutral that didn’t show stains as all full size mattresses in the house are the same gray. Queen guest bed is cream color and king size bed is white.
I criticized her video on an aspect but, actually, Montessori inspired (I say inspired cause Montessori herself never mentioned the domestic environment)bedrooms use a mattress on the floor, not what the market calls Montessori bed. Montessori bed is LITERALLY just a mattress on the floor.
I did e.c. and my daughter is potty trained at 18 mths besides night time. I did cloth and she used less diapers. I just did not want her to sit in yuck. I was not stressed I was happy about it. It is a process. Not sure why someone would lie about diapers
After doing EC with one baby I just can’t ignore the signs when baby has to pee/poop even if I try. I wasn’t sure my husband would do it with our second but once we catch the poops in the potty it’s addicting. Definitely not for everyone.
I’m thinking of switching to a wrap that’s less complicated. Will let you know how that goes. The moby wrap cloth is on the thicker side if you have a summer baby or live in a warmer climate.
@@mirandaefg91does that takeaway from the fact that she got paid for the view? This is my first time watching her but considering she addressed that this is a pros and cons video within the first few minutes (and considering I’ve been watching RU-vid since middle school & am aware when a title is clickbait and don’t really care) I decided to subscribe. Her trying to get her views up does not concern me, the video being valuable to me does.
@POVEATSS and I actually don’t get paid. My channel is not monetized 😆 I’m about to have a third child and will probably do EC. I’ll make a video on why…
Nice try 😅 but looks like someone wants to wear this you making a not free lifestyle this not really good for thim but for you maybe okay but have impact but you don't see because thim hide from you 😂😢
