This video is literally going to be me in about a month. I’ve been stationed in the Wester Pacific Basin for the last 2 years and I’m finally going home to spend some time with my family on the east coast after not seeing them for 16 months!!!
I was named after both of my grandmothers my Mom and my Aunt. My name is Lorrie and I got Lor from my Mom's mom and the rie from my Mom's middle name and my middle name is Ann and it's from my dad's mom and my mom's older sister
I admire these families. I have received only 1 Mother's Day wish, seldom Christmas or other holiday gifts or even acknowledgement. I have not seen n My daughter since 1995 & have financially supported 90% of my son for the past 30 years. I am 76 years old & very tired. I have only SS & it may be said I deserve what I have or that I deserve this treatment. I am very unclear of the reasons as I raised these 2 alone, never had public assistance, finally able to go to college in my 40's, worked (hard) for years. Obama care added to the end of 2 jobs due to employer insurance requirements. Now retired & my son has contributed to bankrupting me. I live in a tent as he insists on his freedom acknowledging no concern for my feelings or medical needs. To anyone reading this I apologize & do know I am venting. Wishing best hope to others.
I wonder what happens when people realize that dogs don't always stay cute puppies? That they need attention, even if you don't feel like it. That they get sick and you spend a lot of money on the vet? Furthermore, they are not toys for children!! Besides, the shelters are full of poor creatures waiting for people to adopt them. There are also abandoned puppies there if it absolutely has to be a young dog. Don't support breeders who mistreat female dogs by forcing them to have two pregnancies every year. Why are people so thoughtless.
My wife, bless her heart, didn’t really care for my Grandfather’s name Boyd. But she did allow it as my son’s middle name. I’ll forever be in debt for the compromise. Walter Boyd is his first and middle name - fits perfectly!
Gave birth to my daughter while we were living overseas. My daughter was a year old when my father in law and mom held her for the first time. I don't think I'd ever seen my mom so happy. She was on cloud 9!!
