Seriously here in the u.s they have to many hangups. Cannot be naked usually. In Germany Finland and many other euopean countries it's normal even in coed saunas and steam rooms to be naked. Put a towel down and sit. But here it's to weird for people. It's either bathing suit or towels on. It's still a good experience just would be better naked imo.
DO NOT BUY THIS FOR TRADITIONAL SAUNAS it ruined my 10 k sauna think smokes after 160 degrees now i used to burn at 180 190 I can’t pass 160 cause it starts smoking ima a contractor i applied this exactly how it told me to pre heated the sauna and hit it with a light coat very upset I might have to rebuy my wood for my sauna I’m going on 4 months this thing still smoking
Don't know about healthclubs but here in Finland, proper Sauna is supposed to be equal ground for all, so everyone is naked there, in Finland saunas are quite dark rooms so you couldn't even see anything for that matter. No social, sexual or other nonsense themes in relation because you are not supposed to talk there or anything else but, just enjoy the löyly and vihta. (and one beer, after that just water) otherwise it is just a somewhat hotroom I'm not familiar with. I wouldn't recommend getting a cold shower after proper sauna because of the extreme body temperature variation in so short time, that's not good for you. (Here in summer when it's nearly 30°C outside and you go to sauna that's around 70-100°C and after 30-60 mins of löyly you take a warm shower and finish yourself drying and putting clothes on, go outside and that 30°C feels very cool for the rest of the day)
@@bertmyles9483 in some degree, but properly done, you go carefully into the hole in the ice, spend a minute in the water and climb out, veterans don't need sauna in the process so it depends. If you are new to the event, then have some veteran with you to guide you through it..
@@ChloeASMR91 haha no worries , anyway it can help but don't expect much its mostly causes water loss and u'll gain it back when u hydrate again , but the main weight loss is about ur calories in vs calories out .. and sauna doesn't burn that much calories at all to have a big impact .
No alcohol? I've never known a Scandinavian who doesn't drink while at the sauna, they love a beer or a vodka in there, also cooking sausages at the same time.
1:01 what do you mean by "worsen" the sweating. If by intensify the sweating, why is this the opposite of what you would wish to achieve. Also, what is your rationale for leaving the sauna as soon as you feel discomfort and why should the sauna always feel comfortable.
Zero information. The title is troubleshooting but the content is excuses. "it's for safety" is not troubleshooting information. If owners have ventilation below the heater and rock placement is per instructions allowing airflow through the unit, then what can they do about the limit switching? Seems like this is the one question everyone has. All you've done here is repeat the instructions.
Have a brand new electric sauna and the high limit switch is triggered and shuts off within 5 minutes. This happend to my old electric heater. I figured the new one wouldn't do it but happens just the same as my old one. Is there a fix?
