I have a jdm integra with a automatic headlight range regulation (adjuster unit) on the backside of the headlights. Now I need new headlights from a acura. Is it possible to swap this automatic adjuster unit to the usdm headlights?
I just install some led lights on my 02 rsx it doesn’t look bright at all I could barely see the road any answer to that bought the car with the headlight full but I somewhat got them to clear
On ours while trying to adjust, it suddenly went really dim on low and high bulb on one side only. High beam on other side was on dimly at first too. Very weird. Turned out to be headlight fuses! Didn't make sense to me that they would still be on at all if a fuse blew, but that was the fix. Had it happen again but son and I had forgotten the weird behavior --> fuse again!
So, on the low beam, you can't go up and down at all. I guess you could put washers or shims under your headlight installation bolts to move it up or down, but that's not a very precise way to do it. If it isn't the right height, it must mean your car's been in a wreck and wasn't fixed right.
I some how found a way to point my low beam up WAY high. I was switching out the light bulb and now that sucker is blinding everyone like i have my high beam on.. Not sure how to get it back down.
this was posted a year ago, but hope it helps you or someone. if you put in a HID/LED make sure your X-clip is flush and how your beam from that bulb is setup. If it's not flush on the top or bottom it could be aimed up/down causing blinding.
