Might I ask how you attached the colony corridor pieces side by side like that? (6:51) I’m in the process of designing and ISV and I need some way to efficiently deploy surface bases
That's a tricky one, what I've done here is connecting the modules with their docking port, then using the offset tool in the VAB to match it perfectly with the truss.
this is a really beautiful and peaceful video. I have a question though. i would really love some big service bays like you have in your video which you used to drop the base parts. How to get those?
Really cool mission - I know we talked about it on your Jupiter mission. It made me think about an old collegue who was in the "Sirisus Patrole" - a part of the artic command in Denmark were they do ½ a year dogsledding missions only 2 people. He said that you really need to get a long with your buddy or you'll have a bad time... and even if you got a long it still could be a challenge x) I just tried to imagine what it what it would be like to have such a long mission - only 2 people. The imagery with the long lense and Saturn in the background.. man i hope i live long enough to see something similar being build and deployed.
You're videos are a true inspiration to me - i always find it fascinating how pretty you manage to make your crafts.. They really work well visually. I guess.. once I get over KSP2s looming death.. I can find a place on KSP1 if I play it like this. Your Titan Mission... I was sure I have seen a similar video loong ago.. did you re upload your videos on a new channel or?
@@glidingsprxy I did a bit of googling. the one it reminded me of was this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--oeqJ5-oYQI.html Also a great mission.
Now since the ship is all constructed that means the initial investment has already been made so the ship could just be re-fueled and sent off for the next mission much cheaper!
Это поистине великолепно. Отдельно хотелось бы отметить прекрасный подбор музыки. Благодаря таким авторам, KSP открывается под новым углом. Особенно хочется выделить большой респект за то, что были указаны моды в описании. 🌏
Extremely impressive. If you don’t mind me asking, how are you doing those return-to-launch-site landings with the boosters? I’ve always had trouble with them when flying manually. Are you using a script or autopilot mod?
Thanks! I had no idea about that mod. It might be a while before I use it, since I’m learning to use SSTO spaceplanes at the moment, but when I get back to reusable rockets I’ll try it out.
Excellent mission plan can you explain to me how the balloon is supposed to work, is it filled with atmosphere or helium? Does it rise because our atmosphere temperatures is much hotter than titan?
This looks a lot like Nessus, and I like it! Please keep it up, I've been craving videos like this. Also, how did you do the lander at 6:50 (landing legs and truss) and what bay do you use to store it?
I don't plan on releasing any craft files as it were only meant for this video. Plus, even if I did, there's no guarantee that it would work even if you had the same mods.
