The new bolt for the projector is so bad now I wish they kept it the same there’s no straight ridges to tighten it up. It’s kinda annoying it’s just round now with some grooves. It doesn’t fully keep the projector sturdy anymore.
Great idea! My Hilux button doesn't disengage 4WD, and since I live in a steep valley with a boldery dirt road, I need to plug/unplug the wire socket beneath the vehicle before and after I exit. Huge pain.
I followed this but forgot to connect the exterior door handle and had to remove the panel again. Putting the door panel back on was the most difficult to me for some reason. I also opted to clean the small motor rather than buy one due to time crunch. It worked ! Thanks for the video. Fixed spending no money.
So on my website, you can find a link to a wire harness that I used for my HID’s. Now since you’re going with LEDs, you’re gonna need a harness that goes from H4 9003 to (H1 if that’s the LEDs you get for the projector) headlight relay harness.
OK, so I believe I figured it out. I believe if you buy this harness and Cut the H10 Female connector and replace it with 2 Spade Connector it will work. So, to get this straight, your car door would not unlock/lock with the key fob electronically, BUT if you lock/unlock manually by flipping the door lock mechanism that is by the inside door handle, you were able to unlock/lock manually, right? Only my passenger door is doing this. Thanks for the video sir
Yes, but I still throw a strap over them just in case you hit a big rut. I like using the front runner bungee strap, it’s super easy and quick to unstrap and strap down the gear.
Damn that really sucks! I’m glad you got it. I just ordered one and I really hope I don’t go through this issue because I’m not patience at all. A month is insane. I would ask for my money back within a week the max.

The nilite projectors are made to hold an h1 hid bulb. I’m not sure why standard A-10 bulb wouldn’t fit, That’s what I think I remember putting in mine.
I see the problem on the motor shaft, it is loose into the hole of the helicoidal gear, it slips when the actuator is activated, is that correct? I have the same problem with my hyundai elantra. Greetings from Mexico.
I have the 521 and I love it I live in Florida I’ve used it during a hurricane and it worked great. I was able to run my fiber modem and use a portable monitor with a fire stick and kept everyone entertained for about 10 hours. And I just recharged it with a Fanttik solar panel in about 4 hours.
Have been looking at several different systems for underhood lighting. Lots out there, main differences quality of wire connections, mounting applications and quality of lights. This one I like with the only issue being mounting method of light strip and zip tie mounts for harness. My concern is what you addressed with your review, engine bay heat affecting adhesion of 3M tape over time. Have you had any adhesion issues since install (1yr)?
1996 Hilux Surf (japanese 4runner) has tge same problem. Waiting for a switch from ebay. Hoping thats the problem. Ofcourse when you need 4x4 the most (january in the northwest) it stops working.

I saw somewhere that hoses have oily residue that will clog a mechanism in the heater. I ordered a hose from Mr.Heater to get the right hose for my heater. I use a filter, too. Thanks. New Subscriber.
That's terrible service, I wonder if it's 4 Wheel Parts Warehouses fault or Odyssey batteries fault for such a long delay on replacing your Odyssey battery?
I have the same issue with my 2004 4Runner. I can open the door, with the key but I cannot lock the door with my keys and when put the key in the ignition the car alarm goes off.

wondering if this was a direct swap on? you were ablw to reuse your 4runner sir bag? im wanting a wood steering wheel in a 03 sienna and alot of info is saying the es300 does not work with the sienna air bag. however i see alot of giys using the es wheel on 4runners. any info would be great.
