The responsive grip of a traveling vehicle is constantly moving up OR else down. This has nothing to do with the SKILL of the driver but the normal requirements of operating the vehicle. Your engine not only powers your vehicle in ALL types of conditions but it also has the PoWeR to increase the operator's control.
Why does the Fiesta Rally2 have an advantage, overtaking the car that is filming? Sorry, I'm just starting to follow the rally and I don't understand anything.
So if the car behind is faster than you, its just good manners to get out of the way and let them past so you don't hold them up. On this stage he was clearly faster than me as he started 30 seconds after me 👍
Oh wow great video! You did quite a few good saves there before the crash. That stage looked sketchy! Unlucky! Hope there wasn't too much damage. Subscribed.
That looked very tricky, especially getting the power down and inconsistent grip level on corners, really bad luck going out. Thanks for sharing. I too wondered about the distraction of the tracking system when the overtake request came through. There has been much talk of the brick being used on the Rallynuts in a couple of weeks - we'll find out.
Yeah was a bit of a nightmare, thanks. I think they are a good idea to be fair, it's a bit distracting but you know you don't need to check your mirrors at least
Overtake function seems like a good concept, but range needs to be less from what I have seen. A few people said the car behind was far behind hitting the alarm. Guess it’s a fair warning
Unlucky. Looked very tricky. Pleased you’re both ok. Super impressed with your co driver especially after nearly being rattled through a fence earlier on in the stage as well.
How much of a distraction was the overtake functionality, looked like a few moments after that but at same time grip non existent! Some huge moments before the final one. Gutted for you hopefully not too much damage
It was a bit distracting but it's cos they kept pressing it when too far back so couldn't get out of the way as not close enough really. I think it's a good idea though as means don't need to keep an eye on mirrors. Car is very damaged unfortunately haha
The conditions were awful on that stage and so many cars rode their luck through that section., sorry you had to be the ones who came off the road. Fiona you where so incredibly cool and calm, and handled the situation brilliantly. If I ever needed a co-driver I d be giving you a call. Hope you are both OK today and thank you posting the videos.
The only advice I can give is that you really need to work on your post-incident expletives. That was far too mild 😂 Hope you're both not feeling too battered now the adrenaline has worn off. Big shout out to the farmers with their telehandler 😉
I don't like it! I love it and agree with His Lordship cracking everything some of the best and most sensible in car footage I have seen, also well done to the motor club who managed to put the event on ,Think it was probably Chelmsford ,Have been on the organising team of many rallys over the years and know how much work it takes to make it happen. How on earth did they manage to get those roads closed, must have thought they were in Ireland!
@@Matt_Turner_Rallying just it's moving around a bit where you're going around a bend or over a bump, it's the camera trying to compensate for that. It's really meant for when you are hand holding the camera and helping the footage look more stable. Looks like you have a decent cage mount so no real need for the stabilisation. Or I think so anyway :)
Thanks for uploading. Great to see the course. I was stood in the rain at 4:45! There was an abandoned mk2 on the left which the gearbox decided enough was enough. Top pace notes at 6:24 😂. Thanks lads. Hope you had a good rally.
