Love 💕 the classic 45 ACP mag pouches, for my pack i always used them for a multi tool and sharpening stone, it just worked and fit , and carrying those right beside my knife on web gear ⚙️.
An urban or AT Pack mod. Military gear is certainly durable. And heavy The Alice pack with frame 9 pounds. I used the pack adapter for cargo. The frame is now a second cargo pack. A second set of straps. A light waistbelt or padded belt with pockets. Id seen the trash can mod and windered how it works for a frame. Also WL mart packs have a plastic backboard with reinfiecibg strip. The Alice said to be 40 liters. If the patrol pack is added to the base it holds a midern high dollar down sleeping bag. A 9 pound Army Down may be subzero but is a camp bag not a hiking bag. Scales- I weighed the pack at 2.2 with straps oy and no liners. I dont think yhats correct and will test the scale against a known weight. A simple pack rain cover can be im most colors. It has a military appearance yet is sturdily made and thought out. No broken straps, discoloration, or tears. The nicest featire ive seen on AT packs is the addition of pockets on the padded waist belts. They recommend 25-35 pound oacks on the hostel hop. About three day sprints betwwen shuttles and hostels. ( We used to have to walk into a town every ten days.) Older im looking at a 35 pound urban and trail pack that would be a companion even on hospital trips. Very frustrated with facebook. I could no longer discuss the Alice pack or gear.
Personally I don't believe controlled demolition was involved in any part of 9/11. However, the university of Alaska fairbanks did a study specifically on the collapse of building 7 that concluded 1. The building did not collapse due to fire and 2. The collapse was triggered by an event that severed all the columns simultaneously, what's your response? Edit: also the collapse of the wtc 1 and 2 happened because of the way the trusses were attached to the supports, whenever enough of the supports were sagging down the trusses bent on the bottoms and whenever one floor gave way it had a domino effect, look up the truss system they had there was no support holding it up all of the load was supported by the outside so when the inside sagged it yanked the outside in on itself
Good video. Love married with children. Great TV series. Wish they did more. I still watch it time to time. God bless. From Glenn CATT. In Massachusetts.
I've tried this mod on my own medium ALICE and found the tops of the DEI 1609 frame don't stay securely in the back pad of the pack... this became apparent especially when loaded. Disappointing b/c this frame is much lighter than the standard frame and a lot less bulky... if the top points were connected it would be almost perfect. I also found that occasionally items inside the pack would poke thru the rear but this could be accommodated by packing it carefully
What makes you think the 1993 production is an "imitation" and not just a goverment contracted order from another manufacturer? I actually like the 93 version due to the riveted anchor points for the carry strap.
19D 2qt bladder is worthless, carrier used to carry extra mags. No canteen on outside of Alice but 4/5 canteen inside maybe 2 canteen on belt along sides with mag pouch . None in front, They hurt we you have to hit the ground 😲
You have a lot of good ideas on your ALICE pack but the music is annoying and the constant motion of your cell phone camera is nauseating, as in physically uncomfortable. I ask that you provide commentary or captions to explain what equipment goes where and, especially, how you are securing that equipment. Learn now to keep your camera still. Images without explanation are difficult to understand. Once again, good content; your presentation needs work.
