There are reasons why WOMEN are not to be ordained as Priests and Bishops. First, the Priest is in "PERSONA CHRISTI" or IN THE PERSON OF CHRIST. The Priest is representing Jesus Christ. He chose only His 12 Disciples to be Priests. Second, it is not a Woman's function to be Priests, but rather to be Nuns, because Women is suppose to represent the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Jesus could have ordained Our Lady or Saint Mary Magdalene, but why He didn't? Because it is not a woman's function to be priests, but rather to be Nuns. Jesus, the Eternal High Priest, have mercy on us! O Mary, Queen and Model of Christians, pray for us!

Anglican Coetibus is the key for the Philippine Independent Church to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic for a more ecumenical cooperation amidst diversity. the Holy See might consider an ordinariate for those among IFI who might wish to become members of the Catholic Church while retaining the legitimate IFI traditions that they have developed and the many aspects of their liturgy.
Since 2021, the Philippine Independent Church is included in the list of valid baptisms by the Roman Catholic Church via CBCP. the two churches already reconciled. next step is Anglican Coetibus.
@@lourdck8681 Valid Baptism, yes! But valid ordinations, NO! because the root source of their ministry was not a Bishop but only the validly ordained priest, Gregorio Aglipay. So effectively, there was no Apostolic Succession after Fr Aglipay died. The Anglicanorum Coetibus of Pope Benedict was in response to the petition of so many Anglicans and Episcopalians to return to Communion with their mother Church, the Church of Rome, having be disgruntled by the so many doctrinal changes within the Anglican Churches that no longer conform to Scriptures e.g. the ordination of women. But the Anglican / Episcopalian situation was unique in the sense the they've preserved mostly many of the Roman Liturgy in anglicized form instead of its original Latin, hence having a distinct ritual - which Rome saw fit to apply for liturgical usage (now called "Anglican Use'). The Pope wisely saw that preserving the anglican patrimony that do not contradict the Apostolic Faith and the Roman Rite can be preserve for converting Anglicans so that their return transition back to the Church of Rome would be less painful or less dramatic by not imposing on them the Roman Rite. On the ministry, Pope Leo XIII's 1896 Apostolic Letter, "Apostolicae curae" declared all Anglican ordinations to be "absolutely null and utterly void". Pope Leo XIII deemed Anglican ordinations invalid because he found the Anglican Edwardine Ordinals deficient in intention and form. The late Pope's declaration was founded on the facts that the Anglican rites was intended to create a priesthood away from the sacrificing priesthood of the Catholic Church and to reduce ordination to a mere ecclesiastical institution instead of a sacramental conferral of actual grace by the action itself,that effectively invalidates any sacramental holy orders. This covers all Anglican rite episcopal consecrations that consequently invalidates all ordinations of Anglican priests and bishops from 16th-century bishops. In short, there really was no Apostolic Succession in the Anglican Church, no valid Bishops nor priests. But this was effectively addressed by a special accommodation for former Anglican Bishops and Priest, after the thorough theological training and without requiring celibacy, to be ordained as Catholic priests. For the IFI Members who want to enter the Roman Catholic Church, there was no distinct liturgy, as they've been practically mimicking the same Roman Rite for years, and at time singing Catholic Songs. The doctrinal aberrations within the IFI is a bigger issue versus actual Catholic Doctrines. If Anglicanorum Coetibus was applicable for returning Anglicans and Episcopalians, it will not be exactly the same case for IFI members when entering the Catholic Church. Regardless, they are most welcome into the the Roman Catholic Church because Jesus Christ also died for them and there is no stopping individual members from entering the fold!
We understand the causes and history of this church, but those issues are in the past and no longer relevant to the current problems facing us. Do we have the charity and courage to be One as we are thesame children of the One God? God bless us all.
