That's wonderful! Not being sure if you're good at something is rooted in curiosity, and you were clearly open to finding out if you would be good at it! That's a great mindset!
Excellent! So so true!! Your like a big banquet, serving wise council & excellent advice to enrich my life ! SO thankful you take the time to do this podcast. Each one is full of profound GEMS!
True. There is something in all of us that trigger that "knee jerk reaction". My "knee jerk reaction" most often opens me up to confront what is causing it and try to seek a solution.
I have physical limits. I have been told many times that I can't go up the mountain I live by. I am told because I am loved. But now, I will take it slow but I will climb. Thankyou.
Thank you. At my age my house can stand on paint alone. So yes, your "standard", preferences and the way you think, change over time and that is just fine.
Even taking the metaphor literally. You can always get on at the next port. Missing the boat (ship), sure is a hassle, but if you get going...you can catch up with it and keep on cruising.
This just has to be my favorite. I love it! The part where she walks with her hands up, but still walks forward. It takes courage, but is doable. Thank you!!!!
Hi Megan - I really enjoy your messages. Dealing with children sometimes is easier than dealing with adults. Perhaps a topic -How do you approach adults who are not receptive. I am afraid of speaking with someone who I love about an issue that needs to be resolved.
Megan, You were marvelous on your first podcast, grateful to my friend Julie, who has shared this remarkable gift you have to share. Look forward to listening to every week, now that I have finally found you.😁
Thanks for sharing this. Question...once you write down your new belief how do you start to believe it? Do you read it out loud daily? Or is there something else you recommend doing?
That's a good question! I personally have 10 beliefs that I write down daily. In addition to those, I affirm beliefs whenever I am faced with the belief I'm working on re-writing. So, if the belief that I am re-writing is "I am not smart enough," every time that thought crosses my mind, I rebuttal that with "I have everything I currently need and I am always learning more." Thank you for listening!
