I was there for 3 years 2002-2005 when it was the worst when I first got there I came from lake butler and when we first arrived people would check in to pertective custody because they were scared I went to l dorm they called it the hood had to fight 3 times with in the first 15 minutes of walking in the door 32 fights all together just in the first 2 years I’ve seen people stabbed sliced wide open holding there intestines in over $30 bomb of weed I’ve been threw riots were the officers ran for there live the armory had to come in I left that place with ptsd and it was a shit while officer would beat you and lock 15 of us in the Complex for 15 to 20 hours in a 6x4 cell maybe smaller then that didn’t really have a measuring tape hit it was small as hell and had no toilet and people would pee on the floor threw the cell doors (bars) it was dangerous kids with natural life ms13 gang members crips, folk Latin kings Zoe mafia and many more always fighting waking up to fights stabbings blood everywhere… I got my g.e.d there and now nobody can find it I used to sit on those stares with friends that became family that I still talk to today I ended up getting into class. I became a tutor and help the younger kids that had to go to school get their GED because they didn’t want the teachers or officers to teach them so I helped out I also went to parenting classes got certificates went to wellness classes got college credits to be a personal trainer. I did a lot of good out of place, but I got a lot of bad end up becoming community custody and I got a job working for the warden. I used to keep up with the whole front of the prison mow it weed whack it pick up the garbage they gave me my own office/closet lol and I waxed all the floors in the front entryway made sure it was presentable. Also, the visitation room I stayed in the dorm that was mostly the kitchen dorm. Those guys used to make book which was Joe house hooch or moonshine or whatever you wanna call it so we had some fun from time to time, but the place definitely was haunted had a lot of spirits there two or 3 o’clock in the morning we could hear people marching and cadence. Also, the officers that patrol the outside of the prison that drove around in the trucks would see spirits walking in front of them.

I just had dinner there earlier today. The place has the most interesting decor and is like a maze. The bar is built around a tree, which is cool. I, too, had the harlot's cheese. It was scrumptious! I recommend the char-grilled filet migon.
