I can clip my own nails, but dang it, it hurts every time I do it because my toenails are so sensitive. If she did that to me I'd likely be screaming or jerking my foot back.
I don't mean to be confrontational, but "cut in a straight line, following the shape of the nail" seems to me incredibly contradictory. Which is it? In my mind, "following the shape of the nail" would mean cutting in a curved line (I'm fully aware that youre not supposed to cut in a curved line, but thats exactly my point. Those two commands don't seem to align with each other)
No matter which way I cut them, straight or round. By the end of the day, my big toe nails start to hurt from starting to ingrow. Over the next couple of days, I have to dig the edge out. Not nice.
Bullseyearchery. Trim the nail straight, then file the top of the nail a little until you feel some flatness. If you file flat too much, the nail will split. Keep doing this every 2 weeks for about 4-6 weeks. And you’ll feel better or see improvement. Amazon sells straight toenail clippers. And some open really wide for thick nails. I hope this helps you. 😎
Anyone ripping on this video because you think it’s just a woman cutting toenails, you’re clowns I had bad ingrown toenails on both my big toes that were very painful I had ALWAYS cut my toenails rounded I made an appt to a podiatrist and he told me start cutting my toenails straight across. I had never heard this before No more ingrown toenails

I have autism spectrum disorders and I'd never live in a group home at any time but so far, I like group homes in U.K. so much better than those in the U.S. If you have a disability of any kind but you don't live in the U.S., then I don't recommend that you come to my homeland to live in a group home. Here in America, group homes are like prison that doesn't lock you up and an authoritarian government that takes away your autonomy, doesn't let you live the life you want, doesn't let you leave the house anytime you want, staff come over to your home 24/7 where they trap you inside and order you around, you have 5+ roommates possibly in a 2-bedroom house and do everything as a group, and life is planned for you by an interdisciplinary team, and people visit you without announcing themselves. I don't know what group homes are like in other countries but don't come to the U.S. to live in one even if you think you could benefit. They're shitholes that are worse than prison here in my home country. In the U.K., they look so much better than here in the U.S. At least at this one, people can leave whenever they want and aren't ordered around.
I had bad ingrown toe nails. I had this done at a podiatrist office, foot doctor. He basically done the same thing. Except on my big toe nails, he had to cut them back half way up my toe. They feel so much better now.
