I am not a professional. However, I do enjoy recording various performances as time and scheduling permits. Most of my work is for Santa Fe High School and other schools where my kids work or attend. I also have done a few weddings. This my RU-vid page.
I have to argue though that the Dy'squiths where played by different people c'mon it's like one of the core elements that the Dy'squiths where played by the same person, I mean other than pheobe, that's what made lady sal funny
The girl who played Phoebe got a double major in musical theatre and vocal performance from Oklahoma City University. She is about to start her masters in vocal performance at San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Wow... And I was a assistant stage manager for the Broadway production. R.i.p. Gillian and Hal. These kids well... Young adults have great careers ahead of them . I'm a opera singer but I liked being behind the scenes . And after my 27yrs doing this includes not just phantom. Which is my baby. But I couldn't keep my eyes off this wonderful production
couldn't get past gabriel blow. reno absolutely BUTCHERED the song lol, completely offkey for an entire part lol. not a belter and shouldn't have gotten the part. horrible breath control too
Watching this in 2022, I'm gobsmacked and dumbfounded. I'm an expert on this show. I first saw it on Broadway in 1966, helped direct in the 80's, and watched many productions online. This production is amongst the best. Everything worked. The director knew what they were doing, and the actors understood their characters. Tevye was OUTSTANDING, with his mix of pathos and comic timing. And Yente was a real yente. Also, this play is about my actual family, as my grandfather's name was Motl and he was a tailor in Ukraine. EVERY SONG WAS A SHOWSTOPPER! Again, if anyone involved in this production is reading this, you're all to be congratulated. MAZEL TOV!
For a high school production, I’m impressed! I had to lower my standards a bit, and besides the blatant omission of “If the World Were Like the Movies”, the performances were solid & had their shining moments. Being that this is on the higher end of my top ten musicals list, I only wish more theaters did this show.
I did a play of the little mermaid, and I was the water, and the birds (I forgot what they’re called.) It was SO much fun. I enjoyed it. This was a cool “movie”. ;)
Wow . This was such a good high school performance.Ursula was absolutely fantastic. She has such an amazing stage presence and It would be a crime if she ever stops doing theatre!
