Hello, my name is Dimitri and I run the Caddac Tech Channel. I stream on Twitch and create videos to help others with Gaming, Streaming, Tech, and Computers!
I try to upload videos every Saturday. If you have any recommendations for videos for me to make, please let me know in the discussion tab or join my Discord.
You saved me so much headache and heartache. Literally been dealing with problems for three days and yours was the final piece to save me from this nightmare! Truly thank you for the easy and helpful guide!
Everyone should cancel Spotify, do a credit charge back for your most recent subscriptions, and then start listening to local files or if you're on Android there's a million alternatives to listen to music streaming on open source front end alternatives to RU-vid music.
You have to make a video about all your favorite things? And did any event, are you really inclined to defend Spotify here? For breaking 100,000 items that will end up in a landfill
typical of a monopolize industry they take out whats useful and leave the super bloated, Advertising spam piece of CRAP! And as a country we drop lower and lower in technology, services, medical, human rights, etc.......
So i should install the new NVMe ssd first? (Currently using SATA for my OS ssd) Will it still boot from SATA after it detects the new NVMe? Much appreciated
Not a fan of companies who obsolete hardware. I ended up firing Alexa for all the bugs and issues with it's half-assed, yet bloated software. So far, the most reliable music software in my car has been Pandora on discovery mode. I never was much one for playlists or needing something to organize my music. I tried Spotify, Qobuz, Roon, Tidal etc. and it is all a bit too busy for me. I find the so-called HD feature to be rather superfluous because even Pandora tends to be more capable than the recordings that will pass thru them. Anymore, I just use my phone and CD in the car for music. It's about the only viable use I actually have for a "smart" phone and about all I use it for. Audio market is too hungry for long term appliances. They need new money from you every year now.
If I had known there was a “car thing” I probably would have been interested in it as a product! And I have a paid Spotify family account…and didn’t know about it 🤷♂️
Samsung just made one of their most popular watches not work with their newest phones. What these companies are doing to get us to buy more of their crap is OUTRAGEOUS
I saw that like the Galaxy watch 3 or something doesn't work with it. And it's amazing how Samsung fans are trying to defend it. I kind of stuff makes me nauseous
1) Can we have 1 group of wallpapers for 1 monitor and another group for another monitor. Asking as some monitors I have are in portrait mode and some in landscape mode. 2) Can I have an animated wallpaper on main monitor and statics ones on the other monitors? Thanks
Good morning Dimitri! I was looking for a tool to help me maintain my 2 PC's and Laptop. As I was browsing I found Ventoy, then I found Medicat through your channel. My question: Can consolidate my other USB's such as Windows Recovery, ISO's, etc into Medicat? I have a Windows Recovery USB for each PC and laptop.
Now I heard of the car thing but I never saw too much about it, from the look of the device in this video it looks very well built. If I had one I'd definitely want to jailbreak it
@@marshy7308 I've done it a few years ago booting the system through a USB Stick and it didn't work what so ever. I've tried it multiple times , with a few days break in between as I was loosing my mind in the process and I've given up. I decided to try one last time as a final straw before just buying a new PC altogether and this way really helped me , other than that I'm not really sure what else could be the issue. Hopefully you'll manage soon :)
UPDATE (5/26): I reached out to Spotify support and they've refunded me the entire cost of my Car Things ($96 USD), so at least I've got that going for me. UPDATE (5/30): Spotify has announced officially that they will issue refunds, make sure you have a receipt of purchase before contacting support.
Car thing??? 😂 Seriously??? That's what they called it? No wonder it's cancelled. They couldn't even be bothered to come up with a proper name. If they can't be bothered to name it what else could they not be bothered with. I guess everything. That's why nobody wanted it.
Wait a sec....if all this "Car Thing" is a remote control to your spotify app on your phone, then why do they need to discontinue it unless they also plan to discontinue the spotify service altogether?
A lot of people are thinking that car thing connects to a seperate API or some kind of service that Spotify is having to keep running on their end. It's the only way it makes sense.
@@_Caddac Sure....but I can't imagine why it needs to if all it has to do is interface with your phone. I guess there's probably a reason why it did not sell well, especially if it's not even like an android auto interface.
@@_Caddac Well I found this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KbcO8K9Huz0.htmlsi=CshNOWJnxCrhZ7rs Which makes me beg the question: If the right software can be put on this thing, then this device could be turned into something more legit, like an android auto. And if the thing is really just an Arduino, or other Single-board-computer, then, anyone could just build their own such device
@jviper2004 yeah the main issue is just that it's a very weak device in terms of its specs. That's what most people are concerned about in the subreddit anyways.
Use ventoy and launch Sergei Strelec's WinPE. The ultimate tool. It can boot in win 11, win 10, win 8, win 7 and has all the best tools. give it a try. Medicat isn't a handy iso like it used to be.
Thank you for mentioning the machine-to-machine limitation at 1:07 - I want to transfer Windows to an External SSD and put this cloned SSD into another PC but cannot.
I was concerned about swapping manufacturers at the same time as replacing my GPU for the first time, but this video is really straightforward and got rid of my nervousness! If it all goes wrong and I'm never heard from again, thankyou anyway! Liked and commented for the algorithm :)
Hello, what does it mean when im trying to install diskgenius there this warning that says, dont install it on the partition where you want to recover files. Im not that techy so.. I only have 1 drive that is currently used and want to upgrade it to a bigger ssd. So basically i only have the C drive to install it to. Does this mean i have to install it on another drive that is not what i currently use for safety?
Hello, thanks for the video. I have an issue: After i click on "OS migration" , I cant find my destination SSD. The software just tells me to "select target disk", i click the button and then nothing happens. It only shows my C drive not my d drive(destination ssd)
@@_Caddac Oh okay. Though I've decided to get the OWC 40Gbps NVMe enclosure. It's pricey, but it fits my requirements. i.e. 40Gbps, backwards compatible with USB-C so I can use it on older computers C and A ports, and it takes the 4 NVMe sizes so it's future proof. A plus is that it's all made of metal to help with heat dissipation.
How does Yottamaster brand compare to other brands that make NVMe M.2 enclosures? I was eyeing a Yottamaster NVMe enclosure that is 20 Gbps speed. I know some brands people complain of the design making the drive run hot due to bad heat transfer design of the case.
