OMGoodness... God Bless you ... What a sweetheart Dr Tesmer is!!! I wish I could be able to see him but being on disability I realize it is only a dream!! I lost the majority of my teeth 3 yrs ago after having severe COVID and almost leaving this world. I am so grateful I lived through suffering a horrible case of COVID but soon after my teeth began to break off at the gum and I have suffered some infections so severe that my entire face was swollen so bad I could open one eye a tiny bit and wound up hospitalized. I now suffer from anemia bc I can barely eat anything. In fact imagine sitting at the Thanksgiving table watching your entire family eat so many wonderful family recipes while I ate only mashed potatoes. That's not the worst thing that has happened since loosing my teeth though... I would like to share this with you all bc you never realize how things affect those around you as well. Here we go... One afternoon after picking up my sweet little 7 yr old grandson from school, on the way home he says to me (now this broke my heart) All out of the blue mind you he asks " MeeMaw do you still love me?" To think that I caused him pain tore my heart out. So Dr. Tesmer don't ever think what you do for ppl like me and so many other isn't absolutely life changing as well as down right amazing. It takes someone so very SPECIAL to appear as humble as you when you are a HERO!!! I for one wanted to stop and THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for what you do. I may not ever be able to afford to get the type of services you provide but I wanted you to know that you are making such a difference for those who have been Blessed enough to be your patient!! Do you have HEPA virus rated filters installed in the building? I would be concerned with the circulation of contaminated particles in the ventilation systems. We do use the best quality commercial filters in our practice. In addition we do a procedure called "fogging" in our office which reduces viruses and other airborne contaminants. We use EPA registered disinfectants and follow all recommended disinfecting and sterilization procedures and techniques.

I have a rare case, accident (trauma) genetics, previous braces, pregnancies taking calcium, but rotten now at age 31. I've been looking for any dentist, any around, that may be interested in helping me. My care credit won't cover an all on 4 but I really can't bring myself to get dentures at my age, I want to almost prove myself a role model to my daughter and I don't want her seeing them come out. She asks about them, it makes me want to cry. I'd be willing to be in a video to show an extreme before and after or during process. I'm planning on vlogging my own experience. Just don't want to hurt anymore.
This was a waste. Nothing about the failure rates. The pros / cons. I would like to know about minis vs. regular titanium implants. Dentist seem to just want to sell implants. I have a friend that says don’t get implants. He has 8 on top 4 on bottom. He’s been through “heck” with them. Why don’t we hear about those cases as well?

My suggestion to you would be to find a dentist in your area that is an expert at dental implants and see them for a consultation. There is not one perfect solution for everyone. Ballantyne Center for Dentistry I probably was strong with saying it was a waste. For the purpose you intended it worked. I know any business is about marketing. For some reason the implant business comes off, for me, as being very guarded. I had my extractions done at Affordable Dentures. The gave me a price on mini implants. But even they don’t want to speak about the cons, failure rates, what maintenance is involved, for myself as well as through a dentist and cost estimates of that service. I’m trying to get all that on the front side. I know once you commit and they are place you are stuck with it. I had a friend that says don’t do it, has not been happy ever after for him. Nothing but problems can’t eat with them. Every time he says something about issues his dentist wants him to “throw more money” at the problem with no assurance or guarantee it will solve his problem. In this case we were more concerned about cavities around the gum line. In the future we could do some cosmetic bonding or porcelain veneers which would close that gap if the patient expressed concern about that area.
