Those seem like poor instructions, I expected better from Lloyd's. They are high end parts and prices to match, I agree you should not have to run to the hardware store for a hose clamp.
I don't recall if the instructions gave me torque specs I can double-check and let you know if I remember correctly I just kind of snugged everything up
Just the two gaskets and the o-ring type spacer thing that came on the bike is all I messed with. I really had no idea what I was doing and the instructions didn't help much, but I put some miles on it since the install everything seems fine.
@Dennis Williams appreciate the response. The intake adapters connect the throttle body to the heads. Wasn't sure if throttle body was replaced during installation. Thanks!
After paying 20 grand for a new bike, you would think that dealers would give you what you ask for. I'm not asking for a back or foot massage. I'm asking for a clean bike and full gas tank. I'm with you bro. Zx-14 rider here.
Yeah it was a horrible experience, but somehow the general manager of the dealership caught wind about what happened, he said they've made a policy change and he sent me 2k back so I'm happy again! Also I have a friend with a zx12 super fast bike I think
The initial down payment was $1,000 that's the part I would have had to forfeit which looking back on it now I would gladly forfeit the money and have a better experience somewhere else rather than deal with everything they put me through and there is two more dealerships one in Omaha Nebraska and one in Des Moines Iowa slightly further away but hopefully way better service
@@denniswilliams2179 Buying a new motorcycle should be a great experience. I have a dealership 10 minutes away from my house. I ride an hour away to a different dealership. Just because I didn't like the service I received from one that is close to my house. Enjoy your new ride and stay safe!
@@whitebeltchamp1 I agree this was my first time ever buying a brand new vehicle and the experience was horrible! I'm going to take your advice and go elsewhere. Ride safe brotha.
