Swingin' wit' Willy is my second channel, dedicated to the hunt for history, with my metal detectors around Melbourne and its eastern suburbs. I normal swing over my local area covering public parklands, private permissions (before and or after demolition) and the odd bush trek. All in search for old relics, coins, and occasionally the gold stuffs. So lets get Swingin'!
Need to get a jaw crusher and load up hard rock for later at home, got some nice crystal and gold! Did ya swing the natural sluice box? Gota be some pickers in that sluice
@@Whadaa72 yeah too right mate, pity it's picker/nugget or nothing quartz. All my tests have shown no fine gold which sucks. Certianly did swing over the old sluice no targets that I could hear. Will go back and clean it out properly next time. Thanks for watching mate. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
Thanks for sharing another great adventure Willie. You got some nice gold species this time out and congrats on getting to 1000 subs. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛👏👏👏
@@JosipKolenik cheers mate, yeah I was really happy with the rewards of the weekend away. The time away is good enough, the finds just make even better, like a bonus. Very happy to finally have cracked 1k. Hope to get back out soon. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
Nice finds mate... Won't show the wifey your trim as she has been on me to do the same ... Howdy from the Gold Hill mining district of southwestern, Oregon US. Best wishes and all, take care and stay safe... till the next. ⛏⚒⛏ Cheers
@@OGRocker1 cheers mate, agh the old wifey/beard dilemma... just tell her it's your winter coat and you think it's going to be a cold one, so the beard has started preparing 😅 All the best mate, Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
@@shanesalmo1163 , G'day mate, I wouldn't say that at all. They are all just as good as each other mate. I have just been on the 10x5 for a while now, love the shape, I can tuck it inbetween almost anything. I have been doing OK, but my mate ninja did even better with his 11" round. Though it's not the coil that finds the gold... it's you and your ear! If your struggling to hear targets then slow down or maybe rake an area to see if your missing anything. Hope this helps mate. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
@@rodwilson2114 cheers mate, always good to be out bush catching the color. Even better when the weather was as good as it was! Thanks for the support mate, even more for your sub. Good Luck & Happy Swingin' mate.
@@SDC_Prospecting bloody oath mate, weather was on my side too which was a bonus. Yeah the whole sub thing is wierd. Had 1k up for a day, got my email this morning then looked back at my channel to notice I lost a sub, so back to 999. No doubt just another bot channel gone. Has been 3 subs gained 2 subs lost for the last year or so. Agh well it's for the love of the game anyway. Cheers for tuning in and your sub. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'

Thar be dragons fighting! 🐉🐉 Dragonfly asleep! Sweet outing, Willy, and congratulations on hitting the 1000 subscribers! Lovely specimen gold, was the Equinox the 800 in one of the gold modes? Good crystal country it seems, that flat cluster looked a hint of mauve and not fully white, and the nice cluster of points had clear tips, the signs of good vugs in the bedrock sluice. Great countryside! Good luck, looking forward already to the next, and cheers! Gabi of Narre Warren.
@@gabivalla6279 bloody oath, got to love being in the right place at the right time. Very possible the dragonfly was getting some shut eye, after all it was the only dry spot for it. I have and will always run with my trusty nox800. It has been a weapon for me. I have found about half of what I have found with the sdc using the no over the same amount of time even though I use the sdc more often looking for gold. But some days I get the urge to use the 800 and come away with the goods. Certianly is good crystal country, have found some pockets in the mines before. Maybe one day I'll find a ripper of a pocket. Yeah when I have my yabbie pump with me next I will give those vugs in the bedrock a once over, so long as there's water. Willbe heading back out this weekend' 🤞 I find a slug... @@Whadaa72 well I sort of forgot about that. Have to get that out again and get it into the next episode, would have been easier to point out the crystals. Cheers for watching mate. Good Luck & Happy Swingin'
Congrats on the shinny! But best part if the prospecting is the metal break from the system. Like the 4b. Can't believe people steal anything if it is not even bolted down, stealing a trash bag what dopey people
@@Whadaa72 oh bloody oath mate, the mental escape is worth more than the gold tbh. Any gold found is just a bonus. Yeah it's a bit rough. @@ianshugg2681 cheers for watching mate, Good question... I detect at night as there is no point wasting time out there just sinking cans around the fire, i could do that at home. @@Swingin_wit_Willy No worries, mate, as long as we are in the same ballpark so to speak, lol. It is sometimes very interesting to me as I watch many videos from around the English-speaking world; the slang or meaning can vary greatly, but then that gives it the charm... For example, G-day down under and in England, here in the States we tend to say Hi, Hello or Howdy... "All good", or "it's OK" rather than "No worries" lol. ...As I said being I watch so many, from so many, I tend to mix a lot of them in my speech or writing. ... Looks like u made it there just before the fencing goes up. Marbles like everywhere kids toys before electronics came along. Silver is rare for you but gold is not. We like gold. Have anymore people throw change at you while they drive by?
@@Whadaa72 the fence is still laying on the ground as we speak, plus the block next door is using this block for access with thier trucks. So should be able to go back a few times. Nice finds, Willy. A highlight on marbles would be cool, we'd lost our marbles classification terminology, would your big milk glass one be a fruit salad and cream birdcage tom bowler, for example?! We love how you hit on the tiny patches of grass in im presuming regular suburbs, we'd been surprised which parts of northern St Kilda are listed and which aren't, bits of South Yarra ought be and aren't, bits that are that have no merit or redeveloped to the t*ts. Look at ANA House, Paul Kelly lived next door, across the road, up goes a massive tower, such is Tim Pallas as redevelopment kickbacks minister, oops, planning, my bad, I'll have a beer at the old Greyhound, maybe someone's apartment. C*nts vs c*cks, wot. We're worried the scaffolding was on the 1857 Border Inn, the Berwick Inn today, border to the Port Phillip District btw, the early fireplace, big wooden beams, hate to think what's the result, usually here political corruption gets you a bigger pokies quota. Although the middle of the Gippsland Road the reserve you'd hitch your cart as you went to the pub to water yourself, crowds gathered for evening bands playing off the upper balcony. Such a history you'd have to have a detect there, hey. Cheers, looking forward to the next, and happy swinging. Gabi.
