I’ve a tremendous respect and admiration for Zo coz he never shied away from challenging every shot, even if it means getting out in a poster. A HOF player for sure
R.i.p Lob City ! the original Lob City ! Kemp traded for Vin Baker was the beginning of the end of the Supersonics and they never seen past the 1st round of the playoffs since
ZO was one of the best centers of the 90's and 00's. He was along side David Robinson and Dekembe Moutombo the best rim protectors of that era. ZO was strong as an ox and he was probably the center after Moutombo that wanted to block all the dunks possible. Excellent mid range shooter aswell and very good defensive rebounder.
The Goat winger in Rugby Jonah Lomu who played for the All Blacks had kidney problems most of his career as well but he never let that stop him from running over people on the field dudes a legend and one of rugbys first superstars I recommend you guys check out his highlights
Wilt, Jordan, David Robinson, Pippen, Malone, Mourning, L. Johnson, D.Howard, Giannis. these guys had great physique that every basketball players dreams of
Truly great mixtape for an outstanding player. Love the song choices and editing. Keep up the powerful, moving work. You've done Alonzo Mourning justice.
It's showing Patrick Ewing in beginning of video before he injuried his leg multiple times. 90s NBA Ewing is not close to as fast as pre-injury Ewing. Also could not as easy. If not injuried Patrick Ewing would have averaged easily a extra 4 or 5 PPG in his career and a extra 2 to 4 RPG. In college he was more athletic than Hakeem ever was. As in speed and jump. Hakeem had better footwork. In NBA after Ewing was injuried Hakeem had more speed, better jump and better footwork and easily out matched Hakeem. But in college Ewing faster and better jumper was better than Hakeem.
Ewing! what a player, oh man. the best...and awesome mix of some highlights. great job U-mixtapes. there's one highlight though that no one really mentions- take a look at the 89 ASGame. His block on Olajuwon's dunk lol amazing.👊👊🤘🤘✋ he was going up with both hands, and Ewing stuffed him back down.
As a Sixers and St. Johns fan I really enjoyed watching him play, I even have a 'Zo Heat jersey. Watching these highlights continues to remind me just how GODAWFUL Shawn Bradley was, what were we thinking?
Kevin...in all the playoff games MJ played in, he was held to less than 10 shots one time, vs. the "Jordan Rules" Pistons when he has 8 attempts, made 4, but then made 10 of 11 free throws, 9 freaking assists, 18pts, and 5 rebounds. And after that nobody ever held him to less than 14-15 shots in any playoff game, and in those games he either had assists or rebounds out the wazoo. So when the games counted, there wasn't a team alive that could hold him to 10 shots, so your a statement is like saying "If grandma had a dong she'd be grandpa" and by the time he had any decent teammates, he affected the entire game by his mere presence on the court, and was able to dish to guys like Paxon, Kerr, and even Wennington at the most crucial moments of the game. If you're talking about the early to mid 80s regular season games, sure, he had nobody to pass to and knew their only chance to win anything was for him to score maniacally, but dude walked into the league on a shit team and averaged 28pts, 6ast, 6+ rbs, and 2.5 steals. Gimme a break! He also won DPOY before he ever won a title and was what like 9-10x 1st team All NBA defense? But all he did was score? Yeah right.
he only basketball player in history who I can give a pass for not winning a ring. He did everything to keep the knicks one of the best teams for 15 years. In the 90’s he lost 7 of 10 times to the eventual nba champions. Was a single man show never a single HOF anywhere around him. Not even an all star!
Same with Amy super star in their prime?...the only 3 players who seem like the didn't need to shoot at all to affect the game imo are wilt, bill Russell and magic
i pretty much really really HATE the pacers including reggie miller and i did do and will really really HATE david robinson but i did do and will SOMEWHAT like the spurs as a whole and i did do and will really LOVE alonzo mourning ALMOST as much as legends hakeem olajuwon kareem abdul-jabbar wilt chamberlain and bill russell
since pat riley decreased the eliteness of alonzo mourning please tell me how you all feel about me asking what if jeff van gundy lenny wilkens larry brown don nelson john wooden phil jackson and/or red auerbach were the head coaches of superstar alonzo mourning
