I’m Jack McGuire, a 15 year old kart driver who has been racing for a year and a half. Right now I’m driving both Lo206 and KA-100 race karts and taking every opportunity to learn what I can so that I can push myself further up the grid. Outside of competition, however, my parents are the owners of the K1 Speed Clovis Location. Join me as I progress to higher levels throughout my career.
I believe I started from pole at this race but there’s a long format video on my channel of starting from second. In this race I was just able to jump ahead and be consistent lap after lap.
Especially after the winter the cracks in the track surface got even worse, and not enough venues go to Willow Springs for karting to justify fixing every one of those. It’s a fun track but it does hurt after a full weekend.
Me and my son went out to willow last year track was so bad my son said his feet were flying off the pedals, it's getting way unsafe they need to fix it or shut it down,I talked to them about what my son said and they said they are just putting the money into the big car track so I think willow kart track is coming to a end ,kinda sad cause old man willow who passed would not let this happen he was all about the track and racing, I think who ever is running it now is in it for the money not for the love of motorsports
