I come from hearing rods, and they implanted me with the bonebridge and a week ago they gave me the Samba 2, with its corresponding programming. The sound I get is not good, it is as if it were the sound of an old speaker, with a lot of distortion, I can't hear what they are saying to me, I can't hear the television well. Could it be a bad configuration? Or is it really like that?

Now I have a question: My hearing-nerv should be able to edit frequencies from 20 Hrz up to 25'000 Hrz, but soundprozessors only work between 200Hrz and 8500Hrz, the vocal-range, so a wide range of frequencies are missing. How do you enjoy classical music? Isn't it sounding like the old coal microphone telephones? Thanks so much for your experience!

Tenglo mi implante coclear Samba 2..me lo hice hace 2 años..la verdad estoy muy feliz de la vida y le agradezco a los médicos ciruganos y al especialista que vino con su equipo desde Alemania (medico técnico mecánico) son las personas que hacen el trabajo de dicho implante...la verdad estoy feliz .. escucho a la perfección, es una maravilla de equipo.!!! hola tocayo estoy en momento que los médicos quieren hacerme esa operacion , aun no estoy preparado tiene efectos secundarios, infecciones, como puedes dormir , agua ducha 🚿 como es eso ? la bateria que llevas por dentro es de por vida ??

Thanks for your presentation. I'm in no mans land really. Severe tinnitus that has spread to the contralateral ear as my SSD has progressively got worse. Normal hearing in left ear but from 4000-8000hz severe profound 90-100db) through the range since 2015. Literally disabled at 48 years old. I've looked at a hybrid but really they can still cause an inflammatory response and take residual hearing. Absolutley lost. Nevertheless your presentation was well structured and coherent.

The SAMBA 2 does not work as a regular hearing aid (which amplifies sound) but is the external part of the MED-EL middle ear implant or bone conduction implant. And the longer it take my health insurance take to approve me for hearing aids or an implant at age 60 yrs old my right ear may go completely deaf and with develop mental delayed. Dementia will come fast
What would you do for someone with seizure develop mental delayed and cognitive impaired and dyslexic low read comprehensive and spelling with right ear hearing at moderate to severe and left ear at normal to mild hearing loss and vertigo and falling a lot and weak bones
