Hello, and thank you for your question! Disney strongly frowns upon ticket reselling and it's in their terms that tickets cannot be resold. This couple learned that lesson the hard way and Disney instituted a ban on them. www.ocregister.com/2024/04/15/disneyland-annual-passholder-fights-1-year-ban-for-selling-tickets-on-ebay/ That said, ticket reselling certainly happens, but it seems to be a risky venture. Probably the best thing to do would be to try and get a ticket to next year's celebration. Tickets will probably go on sale in late June or early July 2025. Annual pass holders get early access, followed by everyone else. That's probably a disappointing answer, and we're sorry. We would just hate to see someone buy a ticket and be unable to use it, or worse, be banned from the parks for any length of time. However, sometimes cast members can work some magic, so calling the park or chatting with a cast member online could yield better answers than what we can provide. You might get lucky! And if you're at the parks during Halloween time, you can still enjoy Disney California Adventure up until the party at 6 pm. Thank you for watching!
Hi! Thank you for your question. Candy Cane Inn only offers the expanded continental breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you would need to dine nearby. There are several good places to choose from directly across Harbor Blvd., and additional options nearby. You'll likely be able to find something you're interested in without walking too far. Thank you for watching!
Thank you very much! We're sorry that we neglected to include that important information! Parking is complimentary for one vehicle. Thank you for watching!
Thanks! I'm planning my first trip. My spouse will spend more time in the room reading and sleeping than going to the parks. I've been trying to find a clean, comfortable and convenient place. I think this is it! She'll love sleeping in and having breakfast brought to her. She can take the shuttle and I'll met her at the front gates!
That sounds great! We really felt like the beds were more comfortable here than other places. And if you get a premium room, the breakfast delivery and the plush robes will really be a treat for her. If you have any questions about planning your trip, let us know! We'd be happy to answer questions if we can. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. I am trying to figure out if staying here is worth the extra money. The price increase of late since the remodel is holding me back. I always stayed here prior, but there is one other hotel that offers a trolley as well and is a lot less expensive. Decisions, decisions!
You're welcome! Prices are pretty high everywhere it seems these days, so finding the best value can be tough. Breakfast, transportation, and proximity to stores or restaurants is always something we consider when selecting somewhere to stay. If we can help by answering any questions, let us know because we're happy to assist! Thank you for watching and good luck!
Thank you for your question! Holiday Inn Express does not offer a shuttle to the park, but the walk is approximately 12 minutes. You can also get a taxi for around $13. Whenever we need a cab in the area, we use RideYellow and book online.
It sounds like you had a great time and you have lots to look forward to! Critter Country is closed right now to add two new Princess and the Frog themed stores. So maybe by the time you make it back again, those will be open! Thanks for watching!
Do you think that an adult would fit into the bunk beds? I have adult sized teens and after looking at your video I’m second guessing if they would fit.
Excellent question! One of the team here (the 'A' in MagicalDnA) actually slept on the top bunk years ago on a trip with her friends as a full-grown woman of average height. Reviewing the footage and using relative measurements, we think that the beds are a little short. On the Del Sol Inn webpage, there is a virtual tour that has a measurement tool. Using that tool shows that the bunk bed mattresses are about 5'7" in length, but the queen is approximately 6'7" in length. Using another relative measurement, the width of the queen beds appear to be about the same length as the bunk beds. To us, this says that an adult larger than 5"5' may not be able to fit comfortably. Have you checked out Holiday Inn Express? We stayed there in a two-queen room and it had a pull-out sofa that would definitely fit your two teens. It's a little further away from the park, but it includes a hot breakfast and the room is very spacious. Check out our review here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X270TuuhMZU.html We've also got a review coming up for Candy Cane Inn, but because it sounds like you may be in need of a room that sleeps six, you might do better at a place like Holiday Inn Express, or just hope your guests can sleep comfortably in a slightly cramped space. Thank you for watching! Feel free to ask any further questions!
One more place you might try: Park Vue Inn. We've stayed there twice, but we don't have the footage necessary to post a review. The room is a little smaller than that of Del Sol Inn, Candy Cane Inn, or Holiday Inn Express, but a full-grown man was able to lay down in the bunk bed there. The experience is similar to that of Del Sol Inn, and it's a little closer to the crosswalk to Disneyland.
Thank you for your question! Parking is available for an extra fee of $32+tax per day. Parking is valet-only. If you want to bring a second vehicle, it's $50+tax per day for that second vehicle. We used a shuttle service on our visit, but if you're bringing a vehicle, Holiday Inn Express has you covered.
We hope you can make it! If not, there are always more fun seasonal events happening at Disneyland. You'll almost certainly find something to celebrate there! Thank you for watching!
Hopefully Paint the Night will come back again in the future! Disney has a way of bringing back popular shows. I remember seeing the Electrical Parade advertised on TV when I was really young, and then I was surprised when I caught it as an adult nearly 20 years later at The Magic Kingdom! Thanks for watching!
We're split on opinion. The 'D' in MagicalDnA already misses Splash Mountain and wishes it were still around. The 'A' in MagicaDnA is excited for a new ride. At the very least it's preserved in Tokyo Disneyland, but that's quite a distance for most of us to travel! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for posting another bootstrappers video! Seems like there is some kind of frame rate issue where the clip is choppy, but it was not in the same recording that you posted a shorter clip of a couple months ago. Maybe the video was reencoded with a variable frame rate and worse audio compression instead of losslessly trimmed with a program like Avidemux?
The shorter clip that I had posted a couple of months ago was rendered differently, better matching the higher quality video clips that I had placed alongside of it (that video was 4K, 60FPS). With this one, I selected to render with the same settings that it had originally been recorded with, expecting better performance, no duplicate frames, etc. According to the output file, the resolution is 1920*1080, 30 FPS, which is consistent with the input file (having been an impromptu video shot on an iPhone). The video bitrate is lower than the input file. The audio bitrate is higher than the input file. The encoder, upon selecting to encode with the same properties as the input file, displays these properties: NTSC non-drop frame (30 fps) MPEG-4 Files 24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps Frame-based H.264 High Profile Video: 14545 Kbps, 16:9 44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Mono MPEG AAC Audio: 161 Kbps The output file, however has the video at a total bitrate of 13601kbps. So yes, lower video quality for sure. I didn't check the output file, since I had selected the same properties as the input. Good to know that my software isn't doing what I expected it to do. But it's more capable than my previous editing and rendering software, so I guess there's plenty to learn. I re-rendered the file just now with the following settings, and it produced a file the same size as the one I uploaded. The settings are: MPEG-4 Files 24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps Frame-based H.264 High Profile Video: 15000 Kbps, 16:9 48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo MPEG AAC Audio: 192 Kbps I'm surprised that the video files are the same size, as I would expect this second one to be larger. However, in checking the details, I see that the video was rendered again with a total bitrate of 13601 kbps. So I effectively rendered the same file, just having selected different settings, and it appears to have not made a difference. Must be a software thing. I'll look more into it as I can and see if I can get it to better match the footage shown a couple of months ago. Maybe I'll have to render in settings that far exceed the input to see if it makes for a better experience.
We miss it already! We really love this one, and August feels too far away! Oh well. We'll have to find a temporary favorite stop for now. Which train station is your favorite? Thanks for watching!
rope drop is always so scary for me cuz i'm very short so my way taller cousin has to carry me on his back. every time, we bolt for space mountain or indiana jones
I definitely think that going on Rise of the Resistance at rope drop is the best idea, but I find that my family usually hits Peter Pan's Flight first. But when we're at Magic Kingdom, we go on other rides before Peter Pan's Flight. Most recently, incidentally, Pirates of the Caribbean. Lol. Go figure!
That's interesting, I haven't really thought a lot about the differences between Disneyland and Magic Kingdom and how that impacts rope-drop strategy. I love Magic Kingdom, so maybe I should pay more attention to rope drop strategy there! I assume you had good luck with Pirates of the Caribbean there? Thanks for watching!
Great video and sound quality! Would you mind posting the various full clips of the Bootstrappers that you have recorded? I did not see any on your channel so far.
Thank you! I'll see what I can do. I'm always in need of a steady stream of content (I try to upload every Thursday), so I think I can release those videos in the future, especially if they're in demand. All the Bootstrappers footage I have is from 2018, recorded on an iPhone with no stabilization, so it's not the best footage I have, but it will do! Thank you again for your kind words and stay tuned for that footage in the future.
Mostly rainy right now, but still nice. One of my favorite memories is Disneyland in the rain. There was no line for Splash Mountain, so I went three or four times in a row! You can usually count on low crowds when it's raining, but it also means getting wet while standing in line outside. Thank you for watching and for your question!
It was nice to be able to watch the Disneyland Halloween Parade since I am a Disney World visitor. I wish we had Jack and Sally in the Boo To You Parade!
We're glad you enjoyed it! It's too bad that Jack and Sally aren't in the Boo To You Parade! I wonder why? It would seem that they are popular characters this time of year. Maybe it's just because the Disneyland Resort has Haunted Mansion Holiday? Whatever the reason, I hope they get Jack and Sally in Walt Disney World in the future! Thank you for watching!
Hello! I was just wondering (it’s okay if you don’t know the answer) Do you know if they will be selling those little cosbaby figures online as well? (00:45) (I live in GA, so I been trying to look for it)
Hi! Thank you for your great question! Unfortunately, I don't know if they will be selling them online in the future. I checked the ShopDisney app, Amazon, and eBay and I didn't see any of that particular figure. But, that doesn't mean that's a forever 'no'! You may want to keep checking the ShopDisney app and the other usual places periodically just in case one pops up somewhere. I hope you can get all the cool merchandise you're after!
Thank you for your question! The only Avengers-specific store right now is the Avengers Vault. There is also the Campus Supply Pod (merchandise kiosk) near the restrooms. Other Avengers Campus shops include WEB Suppliers, and The Collector's Warehouse (for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout).
