I am a railway volunteer and have put many hours into helping keep these wonderful parts of history running. I also like photography and videography. Some of my videos need updating to better quality now that RU-vid can handle it.
Watch my videos and like and subscribe to this channel Watch this space for more steam action.
Good morning. I am planning a train documentary for a 2024 release and with your permission, I'd like to use your footage of this trip. You'll be credited for recording this. The documentary is a sequel to previous works that I worked with others. Thanks for your time, and hope to hear from you.
Top footage would have loved some cab shots. This Nannie is performing better now than in its entire career. Salute to the maintenance team . A big hats off to the footplate crew on this trip. Seem to have sorted our Nannies vices well.
The c17s have there own unique note. Yet it amazes me this class was the strongest locomotive Queensland made. There's still plenty running today. Love the whistle echoing through the mountains, even though that's not an original whistle for this class of locomotive.
The 36 s charging up the tracks towing "The Fish " and 35 or 32 s pulling " The Chips " Ripping thru Mt Druitt in the 40 s. Brings back the memories Some of the line has no Electric wiring . what area is not electrified !!! Beautiful to watch . keep it up well done
Yes it is very hot work. I’ve been on the footplate of 3801 and two other engines up the mountains and it is great. The effects put in is the results that come out in the performance of the engine. Fire on water in steam power.
@@svds81 Wow, that must've been great. Are you associated with the railways somehow? My partner and I were invited to do one way of the Zig Zag (not long before it was closed due to damage following the bushfires years ago) which was fun, and very kind of the crew to invite me (perhaps they were curious to see if my partner would accept; she did). While a unique bit of rail and still something I remember very fondly, it's obviously very different from 3801 out on the main line. I'd probably get kicked out for asking too many questions, LOL. Cheers
Love the 38’s, but super love 3830. Looks more grand than 3801 with that big black non-streamlined face. It commands power as it roars by. Bring back 3830...
Thats the best train the RTM ran ive ever seen!!! they need to run freight more often its probably their biggest unused drawcard they have!, if trainworks ran freight for demonstrations on the loop and mixed trains they would draw far bigger crowds than what they do now !!!!! Its sad that this kind of operation is not done more often!!!
@@barryphillips7327 If the video has no sound, I'd not be able to hear it. I can. In fact I had to turn it down compared with most YT vids. Must be something to do with your system. Check YT settings on this video and your playback device. "When in doubt, boot it out", so reboot your system. Hope you get it working.
I just love the farm animal sound effects at 6:30. Followed by the dulcit tones of a 38! Another great video of a beautiful loco...I sincerely hope they restore her to service soon.
