My name is Chris Ralph, and I am a Professional Prospector - I make my income finding gold, silver, gemstones and mineral deposits which I sell to mining companies. I have a degree in Mine Engineering and I've been digging my own gold for more than 40 years. I've found gold in Africa, Australia, Alaska and all over the western US. This channel is about: 1) Teaching you how to find your own gold and gemstones; 2) Outdoor Adventures in the field exploring the western USA and other locations. 3) I cover diamonds, crystals gemstones and other topics of interest related to geology. Come along with me and we'll have some fun, make some friends and learn a lot about the geology of prospecting for gold. I've got lots of plans for new videos, so please subscribe to my channel and let me know your thoughts in the comments on my videos.

10 Lies that are the absolute TRUTH !! 😂 Great value here. I've seen many of these instances myself. In many places, the old-timers mined out the easy material, but left good areas behind. I'm personally in that situation. It also makes me wonder whether the recovery today is about the same as in their era ? The only difference is modern equipment. 🤔 As for #5, they can save half that money and get my machine. Lol !! We'll done, Chris ! Thanks for sharing. 👍⛏️⚒️🤠

The old timers never had a machine like the gold rattler wash plant you are making. In some places, dry washing works well, but in others its a real dud. In those places it was a dud, there was little the old timers could do.

1-4, I never believed, 5, I tried, and still do, 6, not true but sometimes it's the thing to do, 7, nonsense, 8, always a good idea as the sure knowledge of the presence of gold is a great motivator, 9, this is folly! I couldn't tell you how many times I ran away from gold to go someplace where there was none. 10, As the old timers said, gold is where you find it, often times its found where you never expected and its not where you thought it was a sure thing! Gold will trick **** you!!! Good advice Chris, I concur with each point you make! One thing that should be stressed, and that I have done many times, Is the mental aspect. Defeating yourself before you even get started. This happens a lot when you try doing it for a living. It beats you down and you can convince yourself that it's futile to even try one place or another. It's like gambling, when you HAVE to win, you lose. When you don't give a danm, you win. If you've done your research and put yourself in a good spot, keep on swinging, keep on digging, sooner or later it's going to come up yellow!

The biggest problem is finding some where to sell the gold at gold prices. You can't just take it to a store that says we buy gold because they won't give you the price of gold for it. You will need to find someone who is connected to the stock market, someone trust worthy to get top dollar for your gold.

Not only did the old timers not get it all, but their equipment was so bad, that you can find gold the dirt that the old timer had already gone threw. Old tailing piles are usually found right out side of a mine shaft. Gold isn't every where, but if gold was found there in the past then there is still gold there. I recommend looking in the rock layer in the bank of a creek in an area gold has been found or in a creek running out of an area where gold was found. Every where is not claimed, but around here old gold mines are claimed by the government and made in to parks, claiming it is a historical site.

I live in Butte Montana and I just joined a prospecting club here and right now they have four mining claims that you can go on and look for gold and they are adding more in the future. Most of the prospecting is done either with a high banker or gold detectors, because there's no water by these claims, but I went out a few days ago with my detector on one of the claims and I found a couple of small picker nuggets and some small fine gold! I don't ever expect to get rich from doing it, but it is a lot of fun as a recreation! 😁👍 If you're interested in joining, the club is called Mining City Prospectors and it only costs $40 a year for membership! They have approximately 80 members from all over Montana! Give me a shout if you would like to join and I can get you the information! 👍

Hello sir, I've recently watched a few videos very cool stuff. I'm new to this whole the gold mining thing. Only got into it because there seems to have been a geological event here where I live in my own backyard which is not a very big backyard. Basically every type of gold or specimen example you've given I've found in my yard every type of oil you can think of along with many gems including diamonds rubies emeralds jade's. I believe there is more PlayStation is happening in my area that my current city officials are trying to keep secret. I've been going through a barrage of harassment for over 2 years since I started digging these things up out of the ground. I've had them stolen from me the gold that I had melted the gym that I have polished taken people breaking into my house watching me following me when I leave. It's insane. The reason I'm reaching out is because I'm looking for a professional that can help identify and verify my findings In The Raw. Because it seems like every time I try to collect it and refine it seems to go missing if I so much as go to the bathroom and take my eyes off of it. Not only that I will be surprised if this comment even makes it without being hacked and erased. They go as far as to steal my mail falsified documents to make me think that my payments are going through when they are not stop me from getting any notifications of default so now that my house is in foreclosure which I'm trying to fight. But all my assets have been depleted. My vehicle has been sabotaged my communications have been blocked. I don't know what's happening here but it's super strange and I'm kind of worried. I'm about to be homeless when I have tons of precious metals and gems in my yard what you need help processing and turning into something I can cash in on. I'm just trying to save my home. I don't know where all these rocks came from. All I know is that I noticed several of my neighbors renting tractors and dump trucks and a bunch of Chinese people in the house behind me dug a bunch of trenches pumping water into the ground taking slabs of something out I don't know. I think there's people telling under my house I feel the ground moving constantly. Anyways I don't really email or get online that much anymore because I get hacked and I don't even get it so like my phone number is 7 0 2 - 3 3 5 0295. It's the biggest number but I live in Ontario California right near Mount Baldy or Mount San Antonio San Bernardino Mountains. Also one factor am I mention that was pointed out to me is that my house sits next to an ally that was a flood Channel does that makes any difference. All I know is there's been a realtor at the realtor at the realtor everyday coming trying to make me offers on my house. I'm just looking for someone who can come here and help verify with here take a look at it and give their professional opinion. The only thing is I have a very very limited time window maybe 10 days before I have to decide whether the short sale my home or try and Leverage these valuable minerals somehow get a loan or funding or something so I can continue collecting and processing these things into currency. This is like a life or death situation cuz not only do I believe I'm being monitored constantly there's also a another aspect which is there's a chemical being pumped into my house that makes me very sleepy I believe that I'm being drugged to Slow Me Down. Somebody is breaking into my house coming into my yard and my garage stealing my tools just trying to ruin anything I'm doing. I need a professional to help me just come verify with here.
