I struggle with severe mental illness, including a personality disorder. I have suicidal thoughts nearly every day. It’s very hard to have faith in God when I’m hurting so much. Even when I reach out for help, no one is there. I get blamed and rejected. My own husband has turned his back on me. It’s very painful and I don’t know how much longer I can take it.
Beautiful sermon. Raw and real. It can be a bumpy ride sometimes, especially when all the people around you are not in the same path. But never lose hope and keep praying for them.. together. In the end: it is the only way to go. The way up❤ You are not alone!
That’s was an awesome service pastor James. I been only going to red rocks in Lakewood. For only a month. I too was asking god if it was time to leave my home church victory church. In Broomfield . I was struggle to see and wondering if red rocks was the church to go too. Asking god for confirmation and it was like the very first service with pastor Shawn saying he had Alzheimer’s. Just like I just found out three months ago. Just being only 58 years old. But then came your service just two weeks ago. When you said you might have cancer. I been praying for you since then pastor James you and your family for a good report back in Jesus name. I heard a saying that when Jesus came back he took the devil actements that he took from Adam and Eve. And so when the lord died he took back all the authority and actements that the devil had have. So the devil nothing he can take from us that we don’t give him in Jesus name. So I believe pastor James that the devil can’t take anything from you. You are heal in the mighty name of Jesus. I kinda felt out of place at red rocks cause I seen how it was so pack that I thought they won’t notice me. But god had too remind me that I just needed to be there to be feed by my pastors. I will be at the men’s conference this Friday. I know you just had surgery but it would be nice to meet you or pastor Shawn. Has I just remembered now that as I was asking god for another sign pastor Shawn said a verse from Jeremiah chapter 17:14 that he prays every morning. Is the same verse I also pray every morning. That’s how I know this is the church I’m supposed to go to. Well I prayed my text reach you somehow. God bless Lee r.
I get sick of seeing the young adult stats. These young adults have chosen their paths. I just pray they grow up and get a grasp on REALITY. I cannot have much of a heart for stuck up lazy kids. And I blame their parents for coddling them. My parents made me do things. We were working before the age of 10. Now these tards can't even put their phone down to take a pee.

I've accepted that God's words and commands are in the bible, but so are many men's deceitful words and stories. We need Jesus and the holy spirit to find the actual words and commands in the bible.
Pastor Shawn I just wanted to say that I just started going to red rocks church in Lakewood. I been asking god to open a new church to go to for me and my family. The first sermon is how you first got saved and how you meet your wife. But then right when I’m wondering if this is the church for me you stated that you have Alzheimer’s. I just found out I have that disease three months ago. I was asking god for a sign is when you bought that up. Then as the weeks went by pastor James sermon yesterday really hit it right on . I pray that pastor James surgery goes smoothly. And it will because Jesus wants people who are going to agree that the surgery will go great. We don’t need people to say oh maybe he will leave it in god hands . Yes we do but we need say it loud in Jesus name he is heal. I pray that you see this message and I get to meet you at the men’s group at the end of the month. Cause I would love to know how you are doing with the Alzheimer’s. Pastor Shawn my name is Lee r. I have just started going to red rocks church. I been asking god if this was the church for me and my family. And the first service is when you talk about finding out you have Alzheimer’s. I too just found out I have it. I’m only 58 yrs old. But needed to hear your sermon you touched on so much stuff I’m going through. It’s like nobody understands what you’re going through but they act like they do. But I think they are just trying to help us through the hard times. But I believe as I been going to red rocks I have been fill with more of the Holy Spirit. And this Sunday pastor James hit it home for me. I pray that his surgery goes well . And that he gets good results in the end . I pray I get to meet you at the men’s group at the end of the month. I hope this message gets to you. Cause I would love to know how god is getting though are medical conditions. But I do know god will get us out of the fire.
