Well I think its a reasonable value given that gta 6 will need to release day one on ps5, ps6 enhanced version, and finally come to pc in 2029 before a ps6 expanded and enhanced version drops with the ps6 pro. If your a pc player you can probably just skip ps6 all together and jump to the cloud by then for timed exclusives.
PS5 Pro is still available to preorder at Walmart. that tells me that consumer excitement on the whole for the PS5 Pro is not very high at this price, as i expected.
I’m confused why tell people at the beginning to buy physical media and then at the end defend the choice of no disk drive on the pro, just pick a side let’s be honest they could have easily sold it for 700 with the disk drive and not lost a penny but had plenty more goodwill from their hard core fans that will be buying it.
Another comment regarding Digital vs Physical media is that the Companies themselves really prefer Digital since it's much cheaper than physically making Discs/Plastic Cases w/Cover Slips/Manuals, etc ...& "ALL" the profits goes directly to them . This eliminates the people who purchase used Games & Movies to save money. Please also consider that if all future content is Digital "You Will Have to Pay" whatever the various companies want to charge. It's really like a "Monopoly" ...but you'll have no other option except the Retro market or possibly Emulation.🙂
Actually most people prefer & purchase Physical Media which if you haven't noticed ...includes a massive resurgence in the Blu-ray/4k UHD movie market. Most individuals has come to realize that owning a movie or game is much better than Digital since you can re-sell (sometimes for alot more than you paid) Physical copies & you will always have access to them. In fact ...recently all "Indiana Jones" movies except "The Dial of Destiny" ...have been removed from all Streaming services. So, whether it's Movies or Games though ...you don't own Digital media & unlike Physical copies which do, usually don't get price drops a few months (if ever) after launching.🙂
Yeah I totally use the disk drive, Ghost of Tsushima isn't even that old of a game but it's on disk. I still like to be able to play my older games. If the disk drive is so obsolete i don't see why they can't include it in the box.
Hi Ashley ...don't you think it's a coincidence Sony haters, PC fanboys and xbots are all trying to persuade us not to buy a PS5 Pro. If they are not claiming it's too expensive so you might as well build a PC, they keep bringing up the PS6 as if we should wait for better tech. The truth is the PS5 gen is an 8 year gen. The PS5 Pro is a mid gen upgrade at year 4 to carry us to PS6. PS5 Pro is at its most valuable right now while it has 4 years of life left. Life is short. No way are console enthusiast gamers going to stay on PS5 and wait another 4 years for PS6. Technology constantly evolves. Already the PS5 is looking long in the tooth with none of the advanced tech inside the PS5 Pro. We are looking at the future of game consoles achieving the performance by punching above their weight without resorting to expensive brute force tech like PC. The PS5 will struggle as games make use of the latest tech. Forget PS6. It's not even in the equation. It has been planted there by haters to convince us not to buy the PS5 Pro. Xbots do not have a console that even comes close to PS5 Pro and MS are scaling back their console exposure, so jealousy wants the PS5 Pro to fail. Most PC gamers are still on mid range gaming rigs with PS5 Pro pushing into high end PC. The PS5 Pro cannot match the best PC's which can brute force a win via a $2,000 upwards price tag, but it surpasses mid range PC ($1,000 - $1,500), so all those lower members of the PC master race will soon be invaded by console peasants. To stop that they are desperately trying to build a fake PS5 Pro clone via a half ass cheap PC build, in order to make PS5 Pro sales fail lol. All PC gamers have a vested interest in PS5 Pro failing because they benefitted from Xbox failing with all content ported to PC day one. PC gamers want Sony to fail so they get all the desirable exclusive PlayStation games ported day one to PC. They are dreamers and totally deluded. The games only exist due to Sony consoles.
Well ...I've read on the Internet & watched other Videos that state the Sony PS6 will launch within 2 years ...not 4 years. In fact the the PS6 was seen (behind closed doors) at the Sept. 2024 Tokyo Game show. Also ...I've but gaming since the original Intellivison launch & have predicted every Console Launch. 🙂
I must admit I am less and less convinced about ps plus. For a number of reasons. I absolutely think it’s over priced when you get rid of the fluff and In my opinion it absolutely promotes bad habits like playing a game for a hour then turning it off and saying that’s shite. I could go in on it more but I don’t want to bore you.

I’ve preordered a ps5 pro already, I didn’t get any ps5 before, I’m still playing on my ps4 pro, I saved the money from buying the ps5 and spend a bit more to get the latest and best console to date
At their price (even i hope especially for the ps6) to see a price drop😁 the console's have no competition especially compared to a pc ashley let's wait and see what the 5pro can provide and then in three or four years from today (god i feel so old😱) the time of the 6 will come. But first we are one month away for sony to ✍️ history and change the landscape of what the futures console's will provide the 5pro😈 era is upon us.

I was able to order the ps5 pro, this channel, Moores law is dead, nx gamer, foxygamesuk, digital foundry, and red gaming tech. They all technical analysis, but I chose to see nx gamer he can talk in an understanding level as he is explaining the components of the ps5 pro hardware and compared it to a pc. Microsoft power move incoming Alert! Next generation Xbox to release just after GTA6 and give gamer's a 60fps option while the PS5 Pro is 30fps. It sure would make you feel a little silly waiting for a PS6 or PC release for 60fps 😂😂
They've had games in 1080p for the PS3 before so you're saying a PS5 isn't really that much different than a PS3.... Because Madden 12 for PS3 says HD video output 1080i and 1080p right on the back of the case. So you would think by now PS5 games would be 4K instead of 1080i and 1080p since PS3 is already 1080i and 1080p.
Ps1 late 1994 ,, ps2 late 2000 ,,, ps3 late 2006 ; ps4 late 2013 ( 7 years ) based on this new sony launch time ps6 should be 7 years after ps5 base which was released in late 2020 so yes I agree .
