Hi There! My name is Megan and I am wondering if you'd like to come sit down with me and chat? So many of us in our mid 20's and 30's feel alone and I want to create a community where we can chat, talk about mental health, and live life together.
Thanks for the video. I’m currently sleeping at someone’s house and have been trying to figure out where that noise was coming from for 45 minutes (I first heard it at 2am). I thought it was an alarm going off in another room, but it would change volume each time I heard it. Hopefully I can go back to sleep now that I’ve identified it.
Omg I just finally heard my frogs croaking after having them for a couple years. At first I was like “wtf..?” Then I realized it had to be my lil frogs croaking!! This video also confirmed it lol. I love my frogs 100x more now!
I spent 45 minutes last night trying to figure out what the noise in my house was. I thought I was having some sort of electrical issue or something. Come to find out it was my little guys being noisy as hell haha. This video helped me confirm, sounds exactly like this, but louder lol.
I had my entire family come down to find out what this noise was, thinking it was some cricket (my brother breeds cricket for his pet, so i thought it was one that got out). I am so happy i looked up what was actually going on.
Hi! I noticed a bowl in your froggy tank. Is that a ceramic bowl, because I've gotten a ceramic bowl and was wondering if it's safe to put it in. I dd research, and it never gave me a clear answer. It was originally a small guinea pig feeding dish.
Great video! As a former teacher myself, I can totally relate to these mistakes. It's so important for educators transitioning into new careers to be aware of these pitfalls. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for this, thought i was going crazy. love it when my frogs swim up and then float down slowly. i could watch them do that all day. such awesome creatures
I never knew that they could make noise until just a few weeks ago! I sometimes have to separate my ADFs because one (pumpkin) is so much bigger than the other (pepita). I take Pepita aside and put her in a small dish with clean water so she doesn't have to be deprived of a meal. I was putting her back in her tank on time after doing this, and she didn't really like it, and SQUEAKED at me! It was so surprising that I just had to stare at her for a moment after I put her back in her tank going "was that YOU?! OH MY GOSH MOM!!! PEPITA SQUEAKED AT ME!!!" I've had adfs previously, but I've never noticed any singing. Maybe I've mostly had females? Maybe I wasn't around or there was too much noise to hear the singing from any males I may have had? I really don't know! I'm not 100% sure whether the two I have now are male or female. But I'm pretty sure both are female, since I've not noticed any underarm bumps on either or any mounting behavior (although they are still less than a year old. The store I got them from gave a booklet that says they were about 6 months old when I got em, and the cashier said that these were from a fresh batch of frogs). They do like to nip each other though. Sometimes have to break up frog fights. Love these little sillies! Sorry for the long post, if you read this far, thanks for listening to my ramblings! I get a little carried away when it comes to talking about my pets.
Omg, so my baby was just singing this whole time?! I didn’t understand what this sound was for weeks. I unplugged every electronic in my living trying to find the sound. My husband was like it’s your frog and I didn’t believe him. Wow!
One day I finally figured it out for not sleeping for 8 hundred million years, and we moved them downstairs so they wouldn’t make noise, couple died, but now I have nugget and chip, and my dad said he heard them making noise at night when he was down there, but there’s 2 so that means they, u know what, and a couple days later I caught them in the act and now there’s eggs at the top of the tank
